  1. I have ran the shearer and the cpi's on a 421 cheetah and definately prefer the shearers hands down!! The cpi's are good pipes as well, either of the two will let that cub breath way better than anything Toomey is puting out!! They used to be my favorite pipes until I ventured out and rode some cpi's!! The increase is well worth the money!! You wond believe how long your bike pulls with a set of shearers!! Just my .02!!
  2. They are re-buildable!!
  3. nikosil plated
  4. Not sure what pissed ya off, but anyways!!! Just to clarify, the Cheetah cylinders have powervalves and the cheetah cubs do not!! The cheetahs require the trinity head, cr 350 reeds, and cr 250 intakes. It is really a whole new ballgame, but the power is effin awesome!! I always rode stock cylinder bikes, and the cheetah is like being on a 4 poke down bottom and the ripps and pulls forever up top!! Any more questions, just pm me!! I am not a mechanic or anything but can answe some simple questions for ya if needed! Z
  5. yup!!! PANCAKE BEARING!!
  6. I have the 421 kit and love it!! They make awesome bottom end and scream on top. I would say it is the best dune motor you can build as far as overall power and rideability. I dont kow about dealing with the people at trinity, I didnt have to do that!! And yes, the cheetahs do have powervalves. Go with a cheetah and you will not be dissappointed!! If you dont want the powervalve and dont like great bottom end, get a cub!!!
  7. Thanks!! Jeff from fast was supposed to come out to play this weekend, but they didnt get his trailer done, so no parts from there!! LOL I will rob a new shift shaft off of a new project bike tonight and adjust it and put it back together, to see what happens!! If I dont get it fixed, somewhat, I will be faster in high heels out there running around drunk as hell. LOL See ya there,
  8. Lookin like I am gonna be there, but on a crippled banshee that wont shift for shit!! Oh well, I will be an easy target!! LOL Bring on the sand, the beers, and the dogs!! See ya at the dunes, saturday for sure, if not sooner!! I will be in a black tahoe on 20's pulling a black flat bed with 2 shees, an orange 450, and a black 400 ex!! Hit me up if you see me, prolly be solo, since everyone backed out!! I dont have any hq stickers, but look for the reflection off my bald ass head!!
  9. I have a trinity cheetah set up on my bike!! i never dealt with the trinity people, but I love the set-up!! I bought it like this, but I recently had it re-worked by passion for some more ponies, but it was reliable as hell, really ripped, and was a frickin blast to ride!! Awesome bottom end, and pulled like a drag bike on top!! No complaints at all, just had the money and decided for a lil more power!! Good luck with the decision!! My understanding was the to maximize the benefits of the cheetahs, good pipes (shearers) and large carbs (39 pwk) were really important!! Just my .02!!
  10. Well I got ahold of my builder and built a game plan on the jetting, so I should be able to get it figured out!! Thanks for the help!! Now, if I can just get this damn shifting problem taken care of!! Thast my project tonight!!
  11. Anything else while I am in there? Or, is this just the result of the additional ponies and a way to punish me for trying to skimp and not buy an override??
  12. I cant remember the needle type, I looked last week, but cant remember! It is whatever needle is shipped in the pwk's. I wouldnt really call it a bog, but it is really more of a lag!! Cant really explain it, but it isnt that deep bogging sound!!
  13. Just got my passion 421 put back together. I am running 39 pwk's with 165 mains and 60 pilots and the needle on the middle clip!! The bike runs good off idle, but it has a really bad flat spot when I open up the throttle, following the flat spot, this thing effing rips!! But, I want to get rid of this flat spot!! Any ideas? I am thinking that I need to move the needle, help me out!! Thanks in advance!!
  14. any other suggestions before I pull the clutch cover?
  15. 421 just put back together with new clutch, fluid, ect. The damn thing will not shift at all under load!! When I shift under a load, it just seems to stay in the same gear if I slow down and clutch I can get it to shift, but it has to be so slow!! Any advice? During the build, I modded the star and the shaft. I am leaving on a trip wednesday, please help!!
  16. LOL I had to have my builder show me on my cheetah!! There is a little hole on the side of each powervalve!! that is the top spring mount.
  17. Only 5 more days!! Looks like the weather will cooperate as well!! Look out Waynoka!! LOL
  18. No they arent. They sold me extremes because I do alot of duning and they thought I would pop sls's! Thats what I was told anyways!! I would like to run a set on the drag strip and see what kind of difference they make!!
  19. beer and dogs!! Hell yea!! CJ, I have some paddles I will be running, but I could trade you out for a while!! I have a set of 20's 9 paddle extremes and a set of 22 10 paddle extremes!! I am looking for a set of ultralights for my 4 mill if anyone has any!!
  20. Never heard of em!! No real input from me!!
  21. It has always worked for me!! I use an old hub that has the studs pressed out of it!! Kinda dumbie proof, which is always good for me!! LOL Good luck!! Z
  22. Anyone else getting that itch? Damn it, time seems to be standing still!! Its a good thing my bike isnt together yet or I would be on my way to waynoka tomorrow evening!! Oh wait, got the motor back yesterday, almost assembled last night!!! Damn, I may wrap her up this evening and head out for a day ride on saurday!! CJ, what did you and your boy figure out? This weekend, next weekend, or the following weekend? I am ready to pound some beers!!! If I cant find another pick up to buy, I will be the only idiot there with a 8K shee behind a 1K Taurus!! Keep your eyes opened!! LOL
  23. IMO, on a play bike, I always ran 20x10x10 9 paddle extremes with no problem!! That was on a comparable set up, from the sounds of things (about 70 horses)! You wont be pulling them with a 17t front sprocket tho!! I would probably gear down to a 13 in the front for playing!! Another tire that my riding buddies run and really like are the sand stars. I am not super fond of them, but I run 22 inch tires on 8 inch rims!! I like to hook and go!! But for playing and sliding around, either of the two above choices would probably work for ya!! You could probably find something used pretty easy, either on here or local!! Where are you from? Z
  24. Nope, just the rear brake light!!
  25. Hell with it!! I will take 2!! What happens at the dunes, stays at the dunes!!
