  6. looks like the oil catcher for the clutch screws came loose starting the issue,or one of the basket screws backed up,did u use loctite?
  7. use stock base gaskets, get a coolhead and have precision cut u a set of domes, sounds like they were trying to use a thicker base gasket with a stock head to raise the ports, kinda like they tryed to raise them without portwork, crappy way to do it
  8. yeah sometimes they can be a pain, what u end up doing?
  9. take the caliper off and hold it up in the air with a rotor or something the same size to simulate the rotor in the caliper and try bleeding it that way, sometimes if its got alot of air i get them working that way,if not start taking it apart and looking at seals, however if it worked when u took it apart its probably just being a pita

  11. check your water pump, use engine ice,jet it correctly, dont idle too long
  12. most ive seen are normally open,u tag the ground and the black with a white coming from the left grip shut off switch
  13. check to make sure their is the same amount of gap on both rods, usually if u see a bigger gap on one side or the other the crank is seperating, also if your forks have the coating worn off a good amount i would just replace, the book will tell u the gap between the crank and rods,
  14. i welded 2 30mm axle nuts together so i could use my ratchet and socket, works like a champ
  15. choke tube between the carbs on?????
  16. changed the needle to a 5n7 and she runs like a champ
  17. Everyone i see with them on this board has a 5l1 needle,im thinking thats the problem
  18. 5dp39 is the number on the needle, and the slide itself says 2.5
  19. i got a brand new set of 28mm mikuni flatslides and im having trouble jetting them, 290 main 30 pilot 175 emulsion tube clip on the 4th from the top, bike is stock except t5's,4 degrees of timing and pods, fresh rebuild also, held 7 pounds for 35 minutes on a leakdown,my question is what needle should i be running and are the 175 emulsion tubes enough? or too big? any input helps, thanks
