  1. I just bought a pair of 28mm Keihin PWK's from 23champs here on BansheeHQ. (Thanks again for the great transaction). I am going to be installing them this week sometime and need to know where to start for the main and pilot, as well as the needle. My Banshee is pretty much stock. I will be running the stock airbox and filter, and the only upgrade is a pair of Bill's Pipes and Silencers. The jets in the stock carbs have been changed for the Bill's Pipes, and I also have the stock one. I live in Central PA, around 1600 ft above sea level, and usually ride in weather from 50 to 80.   5. Thanks for the input fellas. The popular answer seems to be th dual 28's. I think I am going to go with them. Are the Keihin's PWKs pretty much the best you can get?
  6. I am looking to upgrade to a different carb setup on my 05. I would like to stay with the stock intake boots and all, but for a decent price will upgrade there as well. What would you guys recommend for carbs. Are the 2 into 1 setup better that two larger carbs? I believe that you can keep the stock boots up till 30 mm correct? I do mainly trail riding and hill climbing. Thanks in advance.
  7. I recently had my carbs and throttle system apart with intentions on going with a twist throttle setup. I since have changed my mind and am going to stick with the thumb setup. It took me awhile to get the bike idling again, but I did get it by dinking with the air screws on top of the TORS system. I also reset the pilot air screws to 2.0 turns out. I am running pretty much an all stock setup except for Bills Pipes. It will idle nicely, but it seems to hesistate slightly from idle to throttle. It seems to have a good air/gas mix (little smoke out of the pipes). Does anyone have any idea? Thanks
  8. I will check that first thing and let you know. I did look at that last night. Should the cutout portion be towards the back of the bike? That is what the directions said, but like I said they were crap. Thanks!
  9. I bought a Motion Pro Twist throttle with TORS elimintaion from eBay last week. I got around to putting it on last night and had one hell of a time. I specifically asked the guy I bought it from if it had the idle kit with it. He said it had everything I would need but he lied. Anyways, I need to get it running for this weekend, and I will not have an idle kit by then so I decided to put the stock throttle and TORS back on it. I got it back together but it will not idle. It will rev at about 1/2 throttle, but cut out as soon as you let up. I didn't get to much time to mess with it. I don't know it may just be that the cables are not adjusted right, but I did not touch any of the adjustments other than the top throttle box one. I messed with it, but no go. I was just wondering if there were any little things to try out before I rip it all apart again. Also, what all needs modified when elimiating the TORS system and putting a twist throttle on. The directions I got with it were crap. Thanks
