  1. if i ran my quad 32 to one on gas or so is that what i should run with alky? i thought it might be different decause you pump so much more alky through than normal gas.
  2. What ration do you mix 2 stroke oil with alcohol?
  3. oh yea, thad be great, i can pay you for it if you want. I am leaving to go out of town tomorrow morning. We are driving to Michigan to meet some family. and we'll be gone for 2 weeks. You think we could meet up when i get back or something?
  4. haha!, well thanks, really appreciate the help okbeast! Parker
  5. oh cool, thanks! where did you find it?
  6. yea ok, i called him the other day and he actually bought it from a guy who built it. so i got a little info. I do have another set of dump tubes that are drilled to .116, and the alky mains are the same
  7. now are dump tubes the same as emulsion tubes? where would i find the stock setting? thanks for the help okbeast Parker
  8. Well i think they are alky carbs or normal carbs that were made into alky carbs. The prev owner said to just shut the power valve when not on alky and to switch out the jet and column thing or "emulsion tube" as i just learned via e2s. well it just boggs in the low end. just seems a lil rich at the beginning and eventually opens up and then it seems to run good.
  9. oh they already run on gas. the guy i bought them from "detuned them." it just seems a lil rich with gas. i have the other alky jets and column things. The previous owner said that if i want to run alky, i just pop in the different jets and stuff and tune those power valve things. Sound right? ill try to get some better pics too
  10. ok yes they do have power jets.
  11. sorry for the size, i had a lot of trouble getting it to upload at 50k
  12. Well, i am not really sure. what is a power jet. i ll get a pic of them.
  13. yea, i am 99% sure they are 35's. they are big carbs though. the carbs are 34mm mikuni carbs with the 280 main jets. i also have a mild port, t-5s, K&N pods, v force reeds, reed spacers. i think thats everything Let me know what you think, Thanks Parker oh one more thing, the carbs are also set up to run alcohol if you switch out the main jet and open up this top valve/vent thing, i am not sure exactly though, i have yet to try it.
  14. hey i pulled my carbs off to clean and ajdust them, they sort of bogg in the low end. i pretty sure they are a lil rich. the mains are 280 and the pilots are 35s. i was thinking about going down to a 30. sound reasonable?
  15. i dont know a tun about carbs but did you try different pilot jets aswell as mains?
  16. woops, i made a mistake. the 160 is wrong. 116 is what is etched into them.
  17. Ok, i have an 02 banshee, with toomey t-5, v-force reeds, reed spacers, 34mm mikuni carbs, k&n's, port(mild i believe), I was wondering what jets i should be running in it. I am at about 500ft. Right now i have 280's. on another thought, it has been set up to run alcohol. What do i need to do in order to switch? The previous owner said i need to back out these nobs on top and switch in these different jets and columns that hold the jets, (are those main jets? idk) the other Alky jets dont have any #s on them except 160 has been etched into them and into the column things? however the diameter of the hole on the "160s" is much bigger than my normal 280's. what do i need to do? Thanks Parker ps sorry for my wacked terminology

  21. Hey, how do you tell if your shee is too rich or too lean?
  22. Thats quite a nice offer okbeast, i don't have a caliper but i could probably buy one.
  23. about how much does a rebuild cost? also, where about in fort worth should i go to get a head milled? what machine shop should i trust
  24. so what would you say i need to do? why would one go up to 150 or so, could the oil just have increased the volume in the cylinder raising the compression?
