  2. my compression tester is from pepboys ill get the name tomorrow. i did kick it until the needle stopped moving and i did it warm. i dont remember if i did it open throttle though. ill try what yall said and get back to you guys.
  3. Hey i took a compression gauge to my banshee and it came out at 105 on each cylinder, I understand this to be really low. It has been ported but i am not sure what kind of port job, the bike has a lot of pep to it and the guy i bought it from said to run race gas. It has a bit of after market stuff like carbs reeds spacers... Is it possible that the port job made the compression this way? It was ported before i got it so i am not sure where they exactly "machined it". Thanks guys Parker
  4. Yea i had bought some of the nylon braided stuff but it seemed to be to flimsy and kinked real bad at low degree angles
  5. Hey where can you get clear radiator tubing and a glowing die to put in the coolant, hardware store tubing i don't think is good enough.

  11. Ok, i took took the clutch side cover off of my banshee and am trying to identify a shifting problem. The shifter doesn't always grab.. when i turn the marked screw the shifting assembly moves up and down so i am pretty sure it is bent. also the marked spring is not very tight at all and has a little slack, do these look like the problem? Thanks

  15. We go to Michigan every year and i was thinking about taking my banshee. Do you have to have a spark arrestor to ride at the silver lake sand dunes?
  16. What type of modifications do you have to do to get the yfz a arms to fit? How much wider are they?
  17. great thanks
  18. What do you have to rewire when putting new carbs on the banshee?
  19. What would be a good set up for draggin and playing for a ported shee? It is also has mikuini carbs and runs on race gas. What is better, the sand haulers or the Skat Trak haulers. I don't plan to ride in just one place so i want something that will do all together. Thanks
  20. So do they all leak when turned up or just sometimes, possibly when overfilled?
  21. Sorry to hear that, I feel your pain.
  22. Ok, thanks. I have another banshee and never had it leak like that, Does that mean it is clogged or something?
  23. Hey, I recently turned up my banshee to look at the under carriage and engine oil began to pour out of the little valve looking thing on the rear of the tranny case. How do you keep that from happening? Is there supposed to be a cap or something? Thanks Parker
  24. So To replace shift shaft and possibly the forks I go in on the clutch side and take off that cover? Thanks For the help
  25. Hey guys, I recently purchased an 02 Banshee off of craigslist and it seems to be having a shifting problem. It shifts up fine most of the time but when downshfting it just pushes down and does not shift, When this happens, I have to pull up slightly on the shifter and then press down again and then it will go down one gear, then I have to repeat the process. Any suggestions? It feels like some kind of linkage problem or something. One of the previous owners did lot of sand dragging with it if that means anything. Maybe that messed it up or something, IDK Thanks for the help!
