  7. how bad is it that i probily had the bike on a totale of 1 hour myslef without that tube, never really ripping though, trying to get it going.would it do significant damage to the engine.

  9. ok thanks, what size is the hose,i am gunna run to home hardware and get one and run it over to buddy, id apreciate a picture it would be awsome cus i will know for sure if mine had it, i tore my carbs apart like 4 times in 2 days.i got the outside setup memorized,lol
  10. so whats that,do you got a pic, i can see if mine had it or not, the only hoses that seemd to be coming from both carbs were overflow hoses.
  11. well i know for a fact when i took the carbs apart i myslef was wondering how the choke got from one carb to the other, there was no connection between the 2,the only thing that seemed to connect was the boost bottle thing,i got no camra.im sure theres no connection for the choke between the 2 carbs now thast he told me, cus i was thinking that before i gave it to him,just never thought it was abig problem.
  12. ya i have the choke nob for the outside left carb, the actuall pull part, but aparently the tube between is missing or something, he said he had to cover a hole or holes to start it.and ya he dosnt want the TORS i misunderstood, he wanted the old parts to see if the tube was in there to save me money, but my other buddy with a banshee says the middle tube is just a simple hose, the machanic says he needs to order it from yamaha because theres a mechanism, maybe he just thinks there is but isnt.simple mistake.hes not a bad guy or stupid, im just jumpym, and quik to jump to conclusions,he does another buddys banshee and hes had his since new and never even done the top end using this mechanic,so hopefully shiaaat works out.but ya, is it just a simple hose for the connecting the two carbs, forgive me if i wrote this paragraph and it makes no sence, one of those days.

  14. just talked to him says im missing a tube that connect, other then that he says he puts his finger on a whole, he just said bring in the old TORS and thetube should be there
  15. thats what i figured, like irember looking at it when i got it saying, i wonder how that one choke gets to both carbs,, and i looked over everything, looked like nothing was missing.i made sure no holes were in the carbs for a tube or anything.so ya, i knew it was BS when he said im missing a choke tube to the other carb and my TORS removal kit has to go, i freaked out, i was like why the hell did i just buy this kit yto put something back on i or any other banshee owner doesnt want on there bike, i was like you gotta make it go with what i gave ya, because its all there, nothing is missing, i need to arange for a ride to pick the bike up. he isnt ordering parts without my permission, he also isnt running it untill he looks over everything and understands how the banshee works,im so sick of rip off idiot mechanics, i self tought myself and i feel i know more then them and im only 20,
  16. my mechanic was saying something about i onlly got one choke , or ojnly one works, and he wants my TORS removsal kit to go, he says it dsoesnt warm up right or somethin , i really couldnt understand, can somone tell me what they mkake of the situation of what hes tying to say, i had the choke pull tube, but he says ones missing, never even saw a placxe for a second, why would he want my TORS kit to go, hee says it doesnt run right without it or somethin, says my kits garbage, any sugestions, i told him to do whatever it takes to get it sdone anyway, just some problems hes running into along the way, not seeing though how its a big deal, it satrs and everything, so wusup, should i tell him to beat it.
  17. what do you guys recomedn for my oil ratio, i have a stock banshee, bored once i thhink, i got fmf fatty gold series pipes, uni air filter, TORS remved.im 300 above see leval,
  18. i just got new fmf gold series pipes,fattys,the header pipe on the rad pump side touches the rad hose, theres no way to make things fit, its the way it is. how come they designed it to touch, will it burn.should i stick a shim of somesort on between , the hose will move like 5 mil mimeteres but bounces back towards the pipe.any suggestions.
  19. also i started my bike cold this morning, reved real high, when i pulled out the choke it seemed to fix things up even after the choke was back in, why does it rev so high at idle,any ideas,how do i adjust TORS removed cables so the carbs are in syncc, there damn close now, thats not the problem at isdle, but need to be done perfect.
  20. alright so i got my jetting close,but am new to banshees, how fast does the header pipes heat up, i ride it for maybe 3 miunutes after warming it up, and i park and the pipes are not scalding hot, but pretty hot, is this normal.how fast does it get to scalding hot. how fast does it get alsmost scalding hot.i runa a stock banshee.
  21. nah,just wanderin why when i bought my new shee, it was suposed to have anew top end in it, and we looked into(beyond the reeds, and checked the pistons out, they looked perfect except 2 perfect lines on each piston in the same spot, just wandering if they left debris, might e cold sezure thoug, but i dont think so.
  22. what would happen if debris was still in the bottom, would it somehow scratch pistons again,????????think this might have happ4ened to me after somone else rebuild before i ownd it.
  23. first of all my to arrows on the crankcase an maring on the cable holder dont line up.when clutch is disengaged it sits closer to the outside fo the bike rather then line up with the marking.when i pull it barely gos past the marking.also when i shift into first, my rear tires turn and lock real quik sounds nasty. should i do the clutch adjusment by manual as i heard the 2 markings arent alsways acurate.should i tighten the cllutcch so the marks is more to the outside of the bike or more to the arrow.???????
