  1. i got DG pipes with stock silencers
  2. i may be ordering a set of MX ported cylinders from ebay.what gearing should i use for a mx port.i want to be able to rip the tight trails.
  3. right on, i figured it may be to much, thats why i asked, any links to sites with stock cylinder kits,.i need the whole cylinders, pistons, rings,,clips,etc.
  4. so if i get the CUB kit for a stock stroke and all stock components, i have few mods besides, how fast does this make it. is it still trail drivable,. like i love ripping tight trails.so should i get this kit.

  6. my buddy says the power jets are hard to dial in and finiky.im new to jetting, should i just get normal standard jets. what should my carb settings for jets, clip, etc be for a 99 stock banshee, DG pipes, stock silencers, uni air filter, closed lid, my elevation is around 350 meteres(not feet) above sea leval.TORS removed

  8. ya i think its not so much how high the bike is, its the low handle bars and how thin the wheel base is , i just feel out of place on it, so im gunna widen it up and raise the bars, make it comfortable for me.get some nice shocks

  11. im a stock banshee owner. alwasy wondered if theres bigger shocks to make the banshee taller.is there a way to make a 6 foot 1 person not look so huge on it, im planing on widening it +2 +2 get the handle bars +3 wider axle.so how can i make it like 2 inches taller or more

  13. which one would be best dial a jet or power jet. it says the power jet only kicks in after 7/8 thorrtle i thought.im leaning more towards the dial jet now.
  14. so what you just turn a knob to go up and down sizes??how touchy is it.is it easy to get them both the same setting???

  17. my choke on my shee wont stick open.my buddy with a banshee says he replaced a rubber peice on his choke button and the next day it was back the same way as mine.does anyone else have this problem.find anything that fixes it
  18. ya im assuming the scrathces are from not warming up the engine or wrong jettting.i stock cylinders and pistons,rings that fit etc, for cheaper then what it would cost to hone it and get new pistons.what should the clip be set to and all that stuff. maybe the setup is right but were thinkin its wrong so ill order up the kits and test it all out. so what do people think buddy helped out up top, what about the air screw and clip adjustment.im brand spanbkin new and learnin
  19. i have a 1999 banshee mostly with DG pipes(ones from exhaust), stock pipes behind seat.I have a uni air filter with a lid, but plan to remove it,TORS removal..my elavation is around 350 meteres aboce sea leval. which kit should i buy.any links. and what should i set everything to once i get the kit as a rough esstimate
  20. ya i just got it, it came like that. i drove it maybe 5 minutes and its been parked since.i parked it because the jetting was way off. and while it was parked we decided to gut it since it was new to check everything out.then we saw the scrapes.so now its time for a rebuild..,this thing is parked until im satisfied its not gunna blow up on me..my buddy has horror storys with his banshee.all because he eqnored problems.

  22. when i looked beyong my reeds on both pistons they have identical scrapes in the exzact same spot, i found this pis on a website, my scrapes look about the same as the scrape on the left.what should i do. i have not compression tester.Im gunna hone i think or bore, get new pistons.hopeflluy its from jetting and not sand as the airbox was filthy with sand past the filter.
