I dont want to start asking the same questions that have been answered a million times but Im looking for some good suggestions on the specific mods you think I should do and what can really be expected from them. No bullshit please, I dont have the time or money to waste on things that wont perform.
First off what I looking to end up with is a machine that can be used for hardcore trail riding (like gncc) but I want to get as much acceleration out of it as possible and still keep it very reliable.
Basically have a stock machine with pro circuit pipes.I of course want a cool head and aftermarket impeller,ported cylinders(is there really a big difference between trail/dune port and drag port)Possibly a big bore kit?(not a cub or t-rex, dont have jack for that)What pistons are good and what are not,What are the best carbs(pwk or mikuni and what size)etc.
I just want to know what you think the best combination is and what brand of parts I should go with(like the head). I cant get a stroker crank right now and Im not sure I even want one but I dont mind spending the money on good parts as long as I end up with a machine that will preform reliably day after day and have enough power to actually get me excited again(scared would be nice).My goal is to be able to pull the front wheels in the first few gears and go like a bastard.
