  1. im thinking of getting some with outerwears and im wondering if that'd be okay even if its raining of if theres alot off puddles, waht size ones would you fellas recommend? and when you add pipes do you make the jets bigger or smaller?

  3. i would just think the inline twin would be a little smoother at low rpm's IMO, twins have a power stroke every half rotation of the crank where a single would have a power stroke every full rotation of the crank. but thats my guess also heard inlines make more torque then v's, but that is probably b.s. just what i heard
  4. srewdriver works too. sounds like same symptoms as mine did, kick you exhaust pipes lol. it worked for me :cool:

  7. i need to rejet my carbs for sea level cuz the previous owner lived at a higher altitude and i dont know where to start. i have powercore2 silencers and boyessen power reeds. also where is the best place to take of the carbs? i had to loosen both side where theres the rubber boots with the hose clamps on them but it took a lot of effort. is there an easier way to take them in and out? take off airbox maybe? and do i need to do a plug chop everytime i rejet?
  8. would a prm summit bumper look anygood on a banshee? i saw one on a raptor and i thought it looked really good. anyone got any pics? the website only shows from the front and i wanna see from some other angles.

  10. my shee wont start cold at the beginning of the day unless i bump start it, but as soon as its running it runs great. the motor heats faster then it used to. once i get it running it'll start with one kick even if its been off for an hour. my throttle body keeps falling of too, about 3 or 4 times. (left carb), (its just rattling off because the clip thingy that stops it from untwisting is still there and stops it from turning). would that have anything to do with it? it fell off for the first time last week and it worked fine up until yesterday. so it ran fine about 3 times and then the problem started.

  12. i was wondering if sst's are good? ive heard that they're really good. i dont mind forking out some extra cash if theyre worth it. i have powercore2's and stock pipes so i want to get fmf's
  13. i was wondering if um racing is any good? im looking for a decent set of nerfs with heel guards and um was one of the ones that seemed good without being overly expensive. just thought id ask people who know this better than i do
  14. ive looked at the knarlys but ive heard more good things about the razr2's but im only getting fronts right now cuz i have a huge hole in one and im getting rears when i get the cash.
  15. i have maxxis all-trak's in the back 22x11.00-10 kenda front max A/T in the front 21x7.00-9 i was looking at razr2's for all around but im not to sure, they look good because i need a thick tire and the 6-ply would be nice i need good ground clearance so i wanna keep the backs at 22. but for the front i was even thinking 22's or even 23's i ride on lots of rock from riverbeds, muddy trails, logging roads, grassy fields and hard packed gravel. there's lots of logs and trees and shit like that around too. that's what i ripped my front tire on. but its getting near time for new tires all around. just wondering what everyone else thinks?
  16. haha ive twisted the throttle when i tried to stop when i first got the bike lol but i hit a barbed wire fence :cool: and ive ran my feet over alot. lol im to poor for nerfbars
  17. how do you tell if your reeds break or start to go? i think mine are starting to die, theres a rattle in the carbs and i think thats what it is. the engine responds great and starts in one kick but the rattleing has gotten worse. but they only rattle at idle and a little bit above it, but not by alot. it started one day when i ran too long in the powerband and then i turned it off and it didnt wanna start after that for like 30 kicks, but then it started and it was rattling... and if they need to be replaced that kind should i get?

  19. so the left side of my motor is making a clunking noise about once every 2 seconds at idle, but goes away at higher RPM. (but that might just be cuz i cant hear it.) but it started after i winded it out a lil bit too much. but right afterwards it idled fine. then i turned it off for a few minutes and it didnt wanna start untill about 30 kicks. now it starts fine and idles for about 30 seconds before it starts to clunk again. i think it might be a crank bearing? but i really hope it isnt. just wondering if anyone has some insightful advise for me. and what's a good weight for oil?
  20. i have a good spark, but my plugs were covered in gas. i cleaned them but still nothing. and the $1000 was alot of little things, not just the big problem. shoulda said that
  21. my banshee ran great last night. this morning it started no problem after i washed it. then it idled and died, it wont start now. this happened to me before (exact same problem) and i dont know what to do. last time i had to take it to the shop and it cost me $1000. has anyone else had this problem? if so i could use your wise words of advice.
  22. ok, how much aer they? and i have fmf powercore2's on it right now with stock pipes would he t5's fit still?
  23. i was thinking about getting some fmf gnarly's and was wondering if they take away from your powerband. i do lots of trail riding and need s'more bottom end. or if theres any onther good pipes that arent to pricey.
