  3. thanks for all feedback gues but i have one more quick question.... its about filters i currently run k&n air filters .... singles (one on each carb) and this past weekend i caught an unnoticed razorback which hit my head on the bars and bottomed out and unnoticing my filter popped off and i was riding for about one whole minute before the throttle stuck due to sand in the carb which left me shitting my pants.... i was in four gear pinned when it decided to lock up. I just shut her off quicky before blowing it up but i was doing some research and i saw that UNI makes a single filter for both the carbs (the carb does not have to be a 2into1, there is two holes on the filter i figured maybe that since it's one filter it might stay on better....

  5. No, no white residue but i drained all my coolant and it was pitch black.... I'm going to change the impeller anyways no questions asked and all heres a list ill do 1. stepup my main jet sizes. 2. pro design impeller/ new gaskets. 3. run engine ice. 4. take off my grill cover that blocks alot of the air for sure that will make it run cooler as everyone says
  6. I run the tag bars... they have never bent yet but i find that kind of strange because tag bars are supposed to be the weakest bars ever.... i've rolled my shee 3 or 4 times and no bend...

  8. well I'm not running 300's im running 330's so ill bump it up to maybe 350's ill pull the plugs and see what color they are as of right now....

  11. Since i'm having some overheat issues i could really use this but I was just wondering what temperature should my shee be running at? Mods t5's ported polished 2 sizes over stock k&n air filter no air box 330 main cool head and more

  13. hey jared... since i just used up my last bit of peak should i just buy some engine ice and 50/50 that with some distilled water? and when i put collant half way in the overflow should i 50/50 it in there also?
  14. I am currently running pure peak coolant.... no 50/50 mix stuff

  16. It's not as bad as it looks the radiator does block a lot of air but If the sun wasn't shining on the chrome the air pockets would look alot bigger
  17. OK i understand to check my jetting but my jetting is corect... I do NOT run 300's i run 330's in my stock carbs.... I just took off my carbs and flushed them out due to a lost air filter last weekend which invovled suking in a whole lotta sand. I ONLY ride in glamis so what do you guys recomend for my jetting I gave you ALL my motor mods... and you guys think 330's are to lean? I really don't think that's the problem Jetting is the last thing on my mind. I really understand all the other possibilities as in radiator cover is blocking air, melted plastic impeller, etc. But if you think jetting is what i need to focus on then I will what sizes do you guys think i should run?
  18. thankx alot guys i really appreciate al the info and thanks again for the heads up on puring water on a hot motor.... so i guess once i get the cash i will 1. Get a new grill or run it with it off.... 2. Buy an oversized radiator 3. Buy the pro design impeller. 4. Run engine ice (even though i heard you gotta do something weird once you run engine ice maybe mix it with something else?) I'm pretty positive im running 300's for my jets
  19. sounds like your carb is getting stuck sand might have gotten in there and now the throttle is stickin... take it apart clean it out real good and put it all back together
  20. thanx for all the info well heres what happend we cruised over to comp in glamis this past weekend.... and after racing up the hill about 30 times in 85 90 degree weather i come back and see that my radiator is smoking so i shut her off and pour water over it cool it up then we decide to go to olds... on te way there the shee just starts missing a gear and revs up and had to shut her off. the radiator started smoking again... so then i rode her back to camp down sand highway really slow. I have a cool head 20cc domes i forgot to mention but what is this engine ice does it really make a difference? and what type of radiators do you guys recomend?
