  1. I did a search and nothing seemed to come up... I'm switching out my front sprocket tomorrow, but I don't have the socket for the sprocket nut. Does anybody know what size it is? I need to stop by and buy one before I get home from work tomorrow...It looks like it's around 27mm or something... Thanks!
  2. Any luck yet?
  3. Yeah I don't know what was going on there. That thing was smoking horribly and he said it was because he was running 50:1. I just accepted it without thinking about it. Unfortunately, his stupidity increased mine. I haven't asked him whatever happened to that quad as I haven't seen him for about a month. Anyways, disregard my posts in this thread because I don't know what I'm talking about.
  4. Hahaha. I just went through this a couple weeks ago. At a Napa parts store, they opened a box in which they sell different sized o-rings seperately. I think it was a #11. Not sure if they other parts stores use the same numbering system...
  5. Yep, and now I feel like a dumb-ass. I'm stupid.
  6. Here are the 2+1 Burgards I got from fasterthanu
  7. or Cascade Innovations cascadeinnovations.net
  8. My CPI's don't fit perfectly (they're about 1/4" from mounting perfectly, but I haven't ran them yet), but 2 inches away from header to stinger? Something's not right. Try loosening all the bolts without pulling them all the way out (including the shock mount's in the front). See if you can arrange it that way. If not, pull the bolts all the way out, put the exhaust together, then try moving the shock mounts around till you get the holes lined up.
  9. No kidding. It's next weekend I'm hoping I go out and beat all of my buddies' 450s with my mods. I've done hella more than what is listed in fastquad02blaster's sig (T-5s, V-Force III reeds, k&n's), so if I get it jetted right I'm hoping I'll be having the same fortune. If that doesn't work, there goes another 2 grand!
  10. So how safe or unsafe do you think it is to run without outerwears in the sand? I'd think one way, but then the other (i.e. thinking it's not too safe, but then thinking that sand usually doesn't get up in there too much). I just got brand new K & N's and have always ran outerwears with no probs...
  11. Did you plug everything back in? The TORS system has an idle sensor, and you can follow the wire from your throttle box down inside your shee....make sure it's plugged in if you're running the TORS system.
  12. Hey Shannon, I like my Burgards! LOL I ended up getting some Marvin Shaw coilovers. I haven't tried out any of my new setup yet, were going to Winchester Bay on April 5th. Anyways, sorry to hear about your recent troubles. It sounds like you ended up spending way more than you wanted in the first place, + had to wait an extra long time for the WRONG parts. That sucks. Eric
  13. So because the resevoir hits, then an extended swing arm wouldn't make a difference, right?
  14. OK, so, 30mm carbs, CPI's, VForce III Reeds, Dual K&N's, RS Timing plate +4, Bored .40 over, Wiseco Pistons, Cool Head with 20cc domes, I just don't even know where to start. Any suggestions would be great. Just the sea level setup would be greatly appreciated. It's the carbs that are throwing me off. Thanks!
  15. Swing Arm/skid plate are sold.
  16. bump Any suggestions at all where to start???LOL
  17. Well I'm almost done putting this thing together. So many new parts here in the last month or so (a-arms, shocks, pipes, carbs, etc.) I've just got these 30mm carbs, so does anybody know how I should jet them for these two elevations?: 1. Sea level 2. 5,300 ft. You can check my sig for the mods I've got...most notably the CPI inframes. I've got the carbs out and ready to jet them before I put them on. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks! Eric
  18. I haven't smoked a joint for years. Now I drink liquid weed. It's legal, but a lot more expensive and it makes you feel sick in the morning. It seems the going rate for a flywheel puller is about $15. That $70 one must come stuffed with 3 $20 bills?
  19. The graph was classic. I wish I would've seen the original. I gotta get one of those adjustable powerbands also.
  20. My YFZ leaks some radiator fluid when I first start it up. The fan never comes on, but I have to put a little fluid in before every trip. One of my friends YFZs does the same thing.
  21. Well I decided against these and got some genuine PWK's. Just too skeptical.
  22. You probably better get a steel-braided brake line...that way when the extension breaks while drag-racing, you can drag your axle behind you until you stop (like a surfer when he falls off his board.) With the sarcasm aside, I wouldn't ride down the street going 12mph with that thing...and I've used wheel spacers!
  23. The one I got from Jeff at F.A.S.T. worked great for me, and it seems to be great quality. I think it was about $15 give or take.
  24. When you pull off the flywheel and stator, you'll see your timing plate. On the right of it while looking at it, there is a gauge on it. Loosen the bolts to twist the plate with the setting you want (usually 0 to +5) by lining it up with the split in your case. Use locktite when putting it all back together...don't want any screws flying around in there... Eric
