If porting is even crossing your mind get the t-5's. i did the same thing. i got my she and thought i would not port and bought t-6's. A month later i was selling those cause i had got it ported and ended up loosing 200 bucks out of the deal. go ahead and get the t-5s now. Besides they are a good pipe anyway.

dude you should of gone with kevin herr. he sure does know what he is doing. i got some jugs dune ported by him and i was beating all these 4 pokes around here and even a cub banshee. im uploading the video to youtube as we speak and ill post it up. give him a call and im sure hell fix you right up herrjugsracing.com

When i sync the carbs i only do it at idle. i synced at half throttle today and they were off. i hope this was the problem cause i don't have an air leak or plugged jets cause they are new. thanks guys.

i am running lean on my right side for some reason. is it common for someone to run a fatter jet in one carb or do i have something that needs fixing. all mods in sig

Just got a new mac book and think i like it so far. its very simple and easy to use just dont know a lot of the functions yet. i guess i need some classes on this thing so learn how to use it but dont know who gives them. well thought id let yall know and see what kind of luck everyone else is having.

Curtis sparks is the best compatable for the yfz. Go to yfzcentral.com and youll find everything you need to know about that thing. I have a white bros. carbon pro on mine and this thing runs hard! i love it plus it looks good.

this exactly what i did.

its too big to plug. i hit a rock and ripped a hole about 4cm. im gonna try to patch it see what happens or not im gonna need a new tire. oh and its on the side.

ran over it with my truck. its got nitto mud grapplers 35's. that may be what did it lol.

how do i break the bead so that i can patch up my tire. i should buy a new one but running low on cash so im gonna patch it if i could ever bread the bead.

yea i had a dune port, noss head with 20cc domes, timing plus 4, billet impeller and some pods on my carbs.

ill check all this stuff tomorrow. ive just been having too much fun riding this thing to do anything yet. ill keep you guys updated.

I finally bought some exhaust and got the shee running last week after about 6mo of just sitting there. I took her out to the sand hills today and there were a few guys on some brand spanking new KTM's. One had the 505 sx and the other had the 450 sx. there were also a ton of other guys on there 450's and what ever else. Im kinda nervous at this time because i have never raced my banshee and was not really used to it but to make a long story short...them guys didnt stand a chance! I jumped on them out of the hole and this thing just kept on pulling and pulling every time. Well thats it for now. im sure ill have some more later. oh and my hats off to kevin! i recommend his work to anyone. :biggrin:

got my banshee running and took it out today and does this thing rip now! it runs very good its just that the left pipe not getting the same blueing as the right. put new noss head, port job, pistons, pipes, plugs and carbs are in sync. is there a problem or is this pretty common.

Finally! I cleaned the carbs and put fresh gas and started 2nd kick. thanks for the help everyone.

I got my jugs ported by kevin and got it put together about 6 months ago and it fired up then but i didnt have any exhaust at the time. Just got my t-5s in and put them on this morning but it didnt want to fire up. what could be the problem. its been sitting for 6mo.

I got the jugs dune ported, honed .10 over with some new prolite pistons. Thats all i could afford (I know its not much...lol) Yea you do need to get your jugs out to kevin! He's an awsome guy and will take his time to speak to you and will answer any question you have!
