  1. I used my tie down strap with a hook. looped the strap and hook around the flywheel and tied the slack on the a-arm and it went no where
  2. My pipes never do get really hot unless ive been riding hard for a long long time. If your bike idles high when warm you probably have an air leak somewhere or your are running too lean on your pilot. Warm your bike up and check for an air leak. If none pull your choke out and if it fixes the problem, turn your air/fuel screw in to make it richer. This should do but if it doesent you need to go up a size on your pilot.
  3. Ordered wiseco top end piston kit and do not need it. Comes with 64.00 std. bore wiseco pistons, wrist pin and wrist pin bearing circlips and rings. also comes with top end gasket kit. $165 shipped.

  10. I did. I removed the TORS and installed the aftermarket caps. I also drilled and tapped the carbs.
  11. When I removed my T.O.R.S. I just disconnected everything. I've read that some people cut the wires as close to the wiring harness as possible but i didn't. The instructions didn't say to. I've also read that you can remove the small switch under the throttle cover and remove the parking brake. Is this necessary? Will I have any problems with how shee runs? My jugs are getting ported by Kevin right now so I can't fire her up. I also went ahead and installed the adjustable timing plate and billet impeller. Hope I don't have any problems gettin her started when shee gets put back together. Thanks guys.
  12. Dont want to hijack your thread but what does it mean to set the ring end gap. im getting my jugs ported and will be using my same pistons again.
  13. I changed out the impeller but didnt see a gasket and my jugs are getting ported. I found this one on ebay.
  14. Has any one used this K&S gasket kit and is it any good?
  15. Did you cut off the tab to the manifold? If you didnt you need to and make sure that its flush but you cant take too much off. I also used a gasket on both sides of the reeds and they worked fine for me.
  16. For looks alone I would pick a honda 450r. You can make those things look sick, but in every other aspect I have to to go with the yfz. I have an 07 and love it.
  17. well....finally got them off. I got some off clean and chewed some up. Im fixing to run to the auto store and to a few bolt stores and hopefully ill have some luck and find me some black allen screws. Thanks for the help.
  18. I need to change out my impeller and put a timing plate in but cant remove the screws by hand. Whats the best way with out stripping them?
  19. well thanks to everyone for all of the input. i think ive made up my mind. let you guys know something later once i get them back and the shee running.
  20. ive bot some t6's fixing to get some 5's, v force 3's, timing plate +4, and pods on my stock carbs. i also have a noss head with 20cc domes.

  22. First of all, I don't know how to go about this. I want to get a dune port on my banshee but don't know who I should go with. I have 2 options. Passion or F.A.S.T. I live in Texas and want to go with one of these two guys because they are closer to me, I've also read alot of good things about them. Just wondering if you guys have any recommendations. Thanks everyone.

  24. 1. Got stock carbs on my 06 with T6's, v-force 3's, Noss Head with 20's, and k&n pods, at 3000 above sea level. i keep idling high once it gets warm and goes back to normal when i pull the choke 1/2 way. got 27.5 pilots. What could be the problem? 2. My shee doesent spit out as much exhaust out of the left side as the right when idling it also sounds a little different on that side. It spits out equal amount of smoke when i rev her up but does it again once it idles. What could be my problem here?
