  1. I got 27.5 in with t6's, reeds, pods, and cool head. but ill give it a try in the morning see what it does
  2. If you have a bog off of idle go 27.5 pilot, I had that problem. It may help it start easier but not sure.
  3. Cleaned them out, no air leaks, just got them synced and still idles high after it gets warm. ill ride then turn them down then begins to idle high after a while. Turn them down and it does it agian. What can it be?
  4. i have an 06 with T6's, jets, pods, timing, and cool head that rides perfect just at idle the left cylinder does not seem to be spitting out as much air and you cant tell smoke coming outvas the right side. What might be the problem or should i worry about it. whin i rev it up it smokes equally on both sides.
  5. What is the difference between port/polish and boring? when ever you port ive seen that the area where the reeds go into gets opened bigger but what else is done. will i have to buy new pistons or do you only have to do it when you bore? boring just makes the cylinder holes where the head goes onto bigger right? sorry for the dumb questions but have no idea on how this works and want to port my bike in about 2-3 months. thanks
  6. I recently put some new v-force 3 reeds on my banshee and they came with 4 gaskets.
  7. Ha Ha....sorry i asked. ill call around when i get enough money and go from there. Thanks
  8. by the way i think i have some money in my savings. who is a good company to send my stuff off to get ported. im gonna have to live with my t6's for a while since i just bought them.
  9. I've raced 3 of them on my yfz with pipe, intake and jets and ate them all up. ive seen 3 other bikes smoke em out here. Theres alot of talk around here about them so i figured they would be alot faster but then again they were all stock. but they do okay
  10. well as of now thats my new game plan. ill start saving for a port job and new carbs. thanks everyone.
  11. Man....that really sucks for me. I wish i would of done more research. to my understanding it was just porting that they were talking about.
  12. still got tors. need to get rid of em'. i guess that'll be next on my list.
  13. I agree. well im gonna have to wait till it craps out on me then ill port. i guess i had my expectations too high. still a blast to ride though
  14. So i bought an 06 banshee all stock about 1 month ago. I ordered some t-6's, jets, v-force 3 reeds, a noss head with 20cc domes, and k&n pods. put it all together yesterday and finally got to go out to the dunes today. She felt like a totaly different machine and i could of swore it felt faster than my 07 yfz that only has white bros. carbon pro exhaust, jets, and pro flow kit until i raced a friend on a yfz that i always dust in a race. He beat me by a bike!!! Well just thought i would let you guys know. Hopefully after i put the timing plate (which is in the mail) at +4 it'll make some what of a difference.
  15. just jetted my banshee and fuel is overflowing out of the left carb only. tried tapping it to get the float unstuck if it was but didnt work. how do i adjust my float. is it hard?
  16. i will be installing this tomorrow and am wondering how difficult and if there is anything special that i need to know. I have k&n clamp ons, v-force 3 reeds, t-6's, noss head 20cc domes about 150 psi. I dont know where to get a fly wheel puller and will be putting it at +4. is this okay?
  17. ill do that. thanks for the heads up
  18. okay i see. thanks for the help
  19. Just got it in and am fixing to begin install. Just wondering if the small o rings that slide over the studs go in between the head and top porion or cover piece or after the top portion under the nuts?
  20. i looked at the noss site and liked the black head. should i go with noss domes or pro design. i think ill call tomorrow and get the stuff ordered.
  21. okay......just bought a 2006 all stock banshee and have already spent $1,000 bucks on parts and figured i should go ahead and spend a few more hundred on some cool heads and domes along with an impeller. I just purchased t-6's, v-force 3 reeds, k&n pods, jet kit, and a pro design timing plate that should all be in some time next week and now need a cool head with domes. Dont know what size of domes to go with. Elevation is 3,000 ft above here and still want to run 91 octane (thats the best i can find here). I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
  22. I chose T-6's because T-5's were out of stock at rocky mountain and that is the cheapest place i could find them. Another reason is because I rode a buddys banshee and that thing rips. He has all kind of stuff done to that bike that its not even fun to ride (its so fast). I want the shee to be pretty fast but still want it to be fun to ride so if i do do some porting it will be way down the road plus i live in odessa texas and there are not many fast bikes out here. I have an 07 yfz with white bros carbon pro exhaust, jets and pro design intake and theres only been maybe 3 people beat me and they all have been banshees. Oh and ill take some pics once i get every thing put together in about 2 weeks and post them.
  23. yea cant wait for all of my stuff to come in. just ordered t-6's, reeds, pods, and jets. My shee is all stock right now and cant wait to put it all on.
  24. thanks. ended up ordering from jetsrus.com. Good price.
