I was in west virginia last week and my throttle cable broke. So I replaced it. ran good for about an hour ... jumped a few times and then it fell on its face. It backfires out right side. slides are even carbs were cleaned and can't find anything wrong with the cable .. I switched plug wire friom side to side still backfired in right side. both plugs are black ish color. I run 93 octane with blenzall oil about 2 ounces a gallon of gas. I took reeds out seem fine. anyone have any ideas as to were I should start to look.

I have a question maybe I am an idiot but. I got set of itp rims front n rear .. the front one is banged up pretty good. So I want to replace it. I got one of ebay and it was the wrong style. On the back of the rim it say's EEX anyone tell me what type that is?

What are some signs that your clutch is gong bad? I only think it casue at the top of each gear it kinda feels like it is revin more than speeding up.

I replaced both . You have to beat the swing arm bolt out but try to take as much pressure of as possible.. I would go with the greese nipple thingy.. I put one in mine as I ride in pa coal dirt and cross alot of water. I just drilled a hole in the carrier and screwed it in ... Haven't replace bearings in 3 yrs. I was replacing them once a yr if not twice. I ride hard and do a lot of hill climbs but still go with it what can it hurt to greese it everytime you ride?

Ok so I had my carbs cleaned and one of the low jets was clogged.. anyway my question is I still have a dead spot when I first hit the gas and again at like full throttle.. what would cause this and also I see that there is gas leaking around the tube that goes to both carbs. the screws are 2 turns out and tors is unpluged it has a K&N filter and dg pipes other than that its stock..

I have a similar issue. Mine is hard to start had to use starting fluid last few times. Also the right side don't seem to fire correctly and it also pops or backfires alot in that side to. Any ideas please help. Also seems like plugs are faouled until it warms up.

Ok i will pick some mains up tommorrow. Do I need to change anything with the needles?

Yes, I have the stock box lid just a K& N filter. My ride is all stock except for the pipes and filter

Prolly just build up from sitting and then running with choke on for 5 mins. I would ride it and blow it out. Then try it again.

Thanks It starts on it own now. But still pops in the one side. I guess I am taking carbs apart.. : (

I have a 92 banshee with Dg pipes and a K&N air filter . Filter was on when I got it not my choice.. But I put the pipes on and was thinking I should jet it. 200 is main and 25 pilots I think thats stock. SO would I go up one to 210 and 27.5? OR what would you recomend? Thanks I live in PA so temps always change I just want a summer setting thats when I rode the most.

I also forgot to mention that it backfires or pops after revin it a bit seems like only one side.

You just gotta know were to park so they don't ask you to see it..lol I know trverton hills rock you can find some on youtube just look for some. I am going to Hatfield MCcoy trails april 21-24 so I am out that weekend

Well I put my old plugs in after I cleaned them. I guess the new ones are junk. I sprayed some starting fluid in didn't start. I adjusted the coil pick up I guess it is next to flywheel. and also was wiggling my coil wires and then sprayed it again and it started no idea exactyl what the problem was. I wish I knew. I don't want to be broke down somewhere. I also don't know my compression how can I check that

Well I unplugged everything and have gas to carbs and have spark at plugs ... So what the heck could this be. I think I got all the tors plugs 2 at carb one in throttle and the box at tank

I am confused with my 92 banshee. I rode it a few weeks ago run fine. Today I tried to start it ran a bit but almost like a plug was fauled. So I put in new plugs won't start. Pulled out put another set in same so I got spark at plugs but it just won't start. Every nw and then it will try to but thats it. I am at a loss. Help please. Also I am planning on jetting to does anyone know the stock size and what I should got to with DG pipes on it?

There has always been dead spots and bogs at times when excelerating. But it seems to be worse and just seems to have a lack of get up and go.. Like I said pipes and air filter were on and pretty sure the guy before never did anything to carbs.. after installing parts

Thanks all, As far as I know no jetting has ever been done. The gas is only like 3 weeks old I just filled it when I went riding last time. I will rip carbs off and look around. Hopefully won't mess em up worse.. I did replace the throttle cable few months ago.. anything I could have messed up there?
