Hey everyone, first post here. I just recently swapped my 250R for a banshee. I was told blah, blah, blah.
The lowdown:
Bike starts in a kick or three. Revs great, idles well, bogs off idle. It appears to be all stock with the acception of the baffles removed out of the stock silencers. The airbox was missing some clips and the filter was dirty as hell. I saw some dirt that got passed the filter and is partially in the intake track. One carb is very dirty, the other cleaner, but still dirty. Slides at different heights.
I just picked up a compression tester to see if it needs a top end (was told it was new).
What should my compression be for a stock bike?
I plan on putting some money into it, but I do have kids and a wife...
I am looking to set up a good all around bike to race buddies, ride fire roads and trails with stream crossings. I live in Maryland at around 300-700 ft in altitude in my usual riding places. Im not looking to build a show bike, but I want it ro run its a$$ off and make people say wow when they get off of it. I want pipe, carb and jetting suggestions please.
I HUMBLY AWAIT YOUR SUGGESTIONS!!
