yea we figured it was a no name brand also, but since it is only a stock banshee with pipes we thought it would work fine, then surprise, its a wiseco.. couldn't beleive it!!
i have 2 sets of stock bore cylinders, there are no scratches in either set, would probablt only need bore 10 over, maybe 20 at the most, you may be able to talk me out of a set, i would like to keep them but everything is for sale, they are stock port also.
tued and balanced kinda run hand in hand, if the crank iss out of true it will definately be off balance, what hapes is the crank pins turn inside the webbing(the part that they are pressed into) then your crank is out of true(or phase). causes internal vibrations that eat away at crank bearings and seals, its just a good idea to have a welded crank, like i said its more of a insurance thing.
as for welding the crank if you are a good welder you could do it yourself, the weld just has to be low profile for clearance issues, but there is one problem, if the crank is in your bike and already has ride time on it, it needs to be trued before welding it, i would just send it to jeff at fast or jim at passion, i dont think it cost very much just to have it done, i would have it done since you will be tearing into anyway, its just good insurance.
get this guys, i ordered a crank for a friend off of ebay from sledpartsguy, the add just said a stock oem replacement, it cost like 255.00. when the crank got here it was a brand new wiseco crankshaft, i think that 255 beans is real cheap for a wiseco crank. just thought i would share.
thats messed up, whoever let that kid ride the bike needs to be icked in the nuts!! i just think they are turning into dinosaurs, and most that is left of them are bones and dust!!
man i am nor trying to sound like a hater but i think all those lt250's and the zillas were junky, i have seen may broken frames, a arms are junk, and they are very hard to find parts for. i would stay away from that deal, there is a reason they quit making them i am sure.
i have a 2 into 1 also. ported motor, 19cc domes +5 timing, vforce reeds, t5 pipes. its the 35mm pwk and it screams, no problems at all. the trick is also haveing the right needle in the carb. there is a lot of tuning that can be done, not just swapping out the main jets.
yes u can have the best of both, the trinity setup comes with an adapter plate to use the stock airbox, thats what i have, i ride trails, woods, creeks, .. the throttle response and low/mid power is definately noticeable.
what do you plan on doing with the bike?? i would maybe get some 33mm pwks?? they may be a bit big, but my play/trail bike has a trinity 2 into 1 35pwk and i absolutely love it. it does not suffer on top end like a lot of people say, i was hesitant to try it since i thought th same thing, but after i got it on and jetted right, i think it adds power everywhere, it may have different hp numbers on a dyno(i think snops did a dyno comparison) but the seat of the pants and the ride are well worth it.. just my 2 lincolns.
man i tell ya what, i would just get a trail tech vapor, it tells you engine temp, time, speed, rpm, accumulated ride time, tripometer, odometer, ambient temperature, i have one on my bike and love it, its also extremely easy to hook up.
hey man, glad you liked your stuff, i see that you got it today, please do a follow up on it all now that you have it back. let me know when u are ready for more powdercoating!
any brand will get the job done, i use the ricky stator one, its cheap, pretty easy to install, you will need a flywheel puller, they are about 12 bucks.it adds bottom end noticeably, and adds power everywhere, it also makes the motor very snappy and responsive. its well worth getting,
