i also looked in the clymers and it said throttle should have free play of 4-6 mm and mine has about 1in of free play

mods are fmf pipes dg silencers proflow filter boost bottle and the guy i got it from said it was big bore and the tors are disconected but it is still on my carb tops it idles but with choke only close the choke and it cuts off but the throttle got a little loose ness to it -- its like to clicks u can press it in to a point and then push it again to rev it

can the throttle effect the idle cause on my banshee the throttle seems loose i got thumb throttle u can wiggle it but when u push down it gets tight like normal im askin because i tried every thing to get thid shit to idle and i got as far as it idlilng with the choke but with out the choke it doesnt but if i hold the throttle to the point were it sounds like it hits a button it holds and idle idk whats wrong :mad:

idk this is my first winter with it i got it last summer but when i got it it wasnt idling at all until i completely disconnected the tors now it idles but only with the choke so i figure sum adjustments to the idle and airscrew will fix it

my shee only idles with choke on i warmed it up to see if thats the reason it wont idle with out choke but nothing it just shuts off if choke is in but if i pull it out half way it idles for about 30 seconds and dies do i need to adjust my airscrews or what

can i use like a paint thinner to get it off

yea in ny u just need to show proof of ownership i know i can register with jus bill of sale but i want to have the title to it

i need the vin to regiter it came with bill of sale and wanted to file for title

my frame has ben painted and last owner painted over vin number but u can still see sum of the numbers wat can i use to take the paint off and clear it up thanks

and another problem since i i got it to idle with choke on its ben actin weird yesterday i started it with one kick with no choke not even a hard kick and its freezen outside it idled a lil bit with choke on and then it will shut off after about a minute then it takes like 5 to 10 kicks to get it back on and wen it do come on it wont idle with or without the choke until i let it sit for a day with gas off what could be causing this

ill think ill do that because i think the idle screws on the t.o.r.s is broke it dosent raise the idle but ima keep playing with it right now its cold out so it kind of hard to worm the bike up but hopefully i get it warm enough to idle without the choke

nope didnt install no parts of the tors removal kit just unpluged all the wires now i can get it to idle but only with the choke on i dont no why though

so it only will idle if it warms up a little but right now i got the idle screws all the way till it wont turn no more is that right or should i turn it the other way until it idle

ok, got the banshee too idle the little black box connected to the tors stopped it from running so i unplugged it and it idled but it only did it with choke half way on so what does that mean

thats what im sayin its plugged up and the throttle response is fine so should i unplug it

the tors are unpluged but i dont think fully the wires are cut that goes to the two devices under the seat but the lil box is still pluged in could it cause a problem because half the system is unplugged

it flat out dies wen i kick it over if i dont give it throttle it shuts off iight is slang for allright :cool:

iight i ben tryna get my banshee to idle for like a month tryed every thing but buy new carbs iight basically the tors are removed the wires are cut but the lil black box under the gas tank is still there and pluged up can that keep it from idleling thanx

allright got cha and can use use this method to clean other parts or jus the cases

seems very simple so what type of carb cleaner did u use and your recommending that i acetone the cases if so how do u do that
