  4. i just finish pitting it at +4 cant run it until 2morrow but is my compression and mixture, jetting ok to run at +4 comp;120 both sides mix;93 from pump 32:1 yamalube 2r jetting; main,280 pilot;25

  7. hey i took off the stator cover to look at flywheel and every thing was spotless then i noticed i had a timing plate and its set at -5 when i ride the bike gears 4-6 feels like crap no pull at all it just sputters could the timing plate being set at -5 cause this or what can it cause

  9. my compression is 120 in both cylinders what would running it at -5 do would it make it harder to start i use 93 from the pump

  11. wen i was riding my bike earlier i noticed it smokes alot after its warmed up i run 32:1 premix yamalube 2r .witch i hate it smells bad i wanted to know if i run 40:1 would it stop smoking as much and is there a better premix to use that smells better and if it matter my jetting is 280m 25p mods fmf gold series prodesign filter airbox no lid
  12. i had the same problem a while back trying to get it to idle with the tors crap but every thing i did didnt work so i took it all off and installed the tors eliminator kit . it comes with new caps throttle cable and the screws to adjust the idle it cost like 50 bucks on ebay . now my bike can idle all day with out a problem

  15. so would should i coat it with i have some chrome polisher
  16. would using sandpaper to take off the surface rust hurt any thing i tried a lil part of it it took it right off with ease
  17. allright sounds good ill try some 320 and work my way down and see wat happens im gonna run down the block right now and get some there only $2.50 so ill get as many as it takes to get it right ill report back after i install tonight working on the banshee is getting really easy thanks to u guys and the rest of the people on the website and clymers i could take this thing apart blind folded and put it back together just wanna say but ill let yall no how shee comes out
  18. old pipes that only say "gold series so u tellin me i need to run 300 to a 320 for just pipes and airbox no lid

  21. am i close with my jetting i have fmf pipes air box no lid 280m 25p needle stock air screw 1.5 turns out it starts better after i adjusted the top of the carbs all the way down to bottem out the slides and before i did that it had a back firing on the left pipe but that also fixed it but wen i hit the throttle at idle it bogs a lil bit and then catches temp 80-90 sealevel

  23. well i thought it was really low and temp is about 80 every day now and im at sea level and im 2 turns out on airscrew ,needle stock and the best peformance is 1-4 gears and 5 and 6 suck it doesent pull it sputters it feel like going from power band then i hit 5 and then it feels like a thumper and as far as carbs being in sync there ok but not perfected

  25. ok i was warming my bike up letting it idle for about 10 mins every thing seemed fine but when i hit the throttle to clear it out i seen the right silencer blow smoke rings like o o o o out the pipe and on the left side it backfires a lil bit a popping sound what i wanna no is could i have bad reeds or was my bike overheating or do i need to jet it right before i destroy my topend or did i already f*** it up and it takes about 5 kicks with choke all the way out to start after sitting for weeks is that normal? jetting 200 m 25 p mods fmf pipes pro flow filter with no lid compression 115-120 on both sides thanks
