  1. 1/4 ID seems too small and 5/16 ID seems too small? what do you guys run? just tryin to get the shee ready for a poker run this weekend!!!
  2. I have them on mine and the only complaint i have is that it's a little hard to change plugs, not impossible! something must have been bent on tooez bike cause mine don't rub the petcock at all! they're a great woods pipe, great bottom end, i never tried any other pipes cause they were on mine when i bought it, they sound pretty good too, louder than my friends pro circuits, if your running stock pipes and there's no t5's cheaper on ebay i'd go for it. If you don't like them you can always sell them, but um sure you will like them, just my opinion guys
  3. I also had a set of bandits on the rear, they were ok but when i put a set of Razrs on the rear it was a different animal! they hook up great! like what was said b4 once you get used to your banshee you won't want to ride anything else
  4. I put one on mine about a week ago and i will never go back! twist is alot easier for the riding i do, mostly trails and alot of hillclimbs! easier to hang on to if ya ask me, if it's good enough for my rocket, it's good enough for my Shee. Ballz 2 the wall!
  5. Yes it has to be 65.50 mm, just lookin to save some cash, DUI you can't afford it! very true. The Banshee is my only form of transpertation for another 8 months lol  thanks guys
  6. thanks but it would be too small, anybody else?
  7. i need a 513MO6550 or 513P6 piston 60 over. asap! i don't care if it's used as long as it's in good shape, so go through your boxes of old and used parts and help a fellow Shee rider out! hit me with a price
  8. yeah i figured it was something stupid like that. i just ordered a complete set off there that had them in it too, i don't need them either o-well
  9. i was lookin on e-bay and saw this gasket kit, what are the round gaskets with 3 bolt holes on the upper left for? just curious cause i didn't have them in my kit when i got it lol thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-Gas...sspagenameZWDVW
  10. I got a set of bushings for my j-arm banshee off ebay for under $20 shipped and it was buy it now, they said they were for a-arm banshee's and yfz i think but they worked great for me. they were 12 ASR Delron A-arm bushings, hope that helps ya out and good luck!
  11. Have an aftermarket impeller aluminum? and possibly stock intakes? pm me!
  12. If you have one please send me a shipped price, type and condition, thank you!
  13. I never used or ever saw the snow tires around where i live. i have new razr's on mine and they suck ass in the snow! A friend of mine just got some Vampires and i couldn't believe how well they hooked up! while i was stuck on flat ground he was climbing hills with ease! i know when i get a new set of tires it's gonna be Vampires, they have some wicked lugs and he never gets stuck. there's a pic on here somewhere that Blessedwithdeath posted, he has them on his too, check them out!
  14. i did blow a radiator hose the day before, the small upper one on the right of the radiator(not the overflow), and i did have coolant leaking out the overflow before and after,, yes tors is removed, so it wouldn't run with a blowed gasket?
  15. When i was ridin down a back road it started running like it was out of gas and died, switched to reserve and it backfired out the left side and would try to run when i kicked it . changed plugs and still the same. Got it home and cleaned carbs good and put it back together and i got the same results, did a compression test on right side it was 135 and the left was 119-120, so i took the head off and i could see carbon marks between each water jacket and the dome on the left side of the head. rings and pistons and cylinders look perfect, so are my symptoms due to a blown head gasket possibly a warped head?? it's a stock head, thanks in advance guys
  16. the threads on the crank(clutch side) are a litte rough and i was wondering was size it is so i can rethread it. thanks
  17. You didn't hurt my feelings! i just can't believe you never heard of a clean-up port. can you explain to me how your confused about my mods and jetting? that confuses me, i live at about 1400' above the sea and and the jetting i had b4 was a little lean cause it turned winter, i know i fucked up! i am still learning, but all the 2-strokes i had b4 never had a problem with the cold, i just never delt with a twin b4 and i'm still learning. I never insulted on ur advise, i am sorry if it came out that way,i'll take any info I can get, i have blown up 3 engines in 4 months given the fact i didn't know it was ported on 1 side and not the other. thats why i am here asking for info, and it seems like alot of people can look at my problem and not give any info ,,like alot of the questions i ask on here,, i don't wanna piss anyone off um just askin for a little info, keep the info comin jmd i really appreciate it!
  18. the exhaust wasn't ported, and i don't see why i got a big ass mess when i've seen alot worse on here that member's have posted pics of, the timings aren't changed at all! i'll see if i can get some pics but i don't have a camera of my own, i'll see what i can do JMD thanks for the info,, anyone else have any info?
  19. yeah after i had it completely rebuilt the left side rod ate shit, after i inspected the left jug i noticed it was ported and the right was stock, some dumbass must have bought another jug and never realized it was ported given the fact when i bought my she the left side was toasted,, by a clean-up i mean that the cylinders aren't cut in any way, the intake and transfers were just cleaned up for better flow (knifed) and the port in the intake, above the intake i think it's a boost port? not sure but it was opened up as well. Wouldn't the left side being ported only make the left side carry the right side so to speak? cause i noticed when i was riding it that the left side would warm up alot quiker than the right side would, and when you wasn't on the throttle it would sound as if the right would quit running until you gave it gas and there was more flow from the exhaust on the left side as well,, both carbs were sync and i did switch the wires with no change. 360's and 370's seem a little steep for my mods i had 240's in it and switched to 280's b4 and it ran like shit with the 280's popped and backfired alot at higher rmp's, so i put the 240's back in and it ran great with good plug checks, didn't make sense to me either, but keep the info coming guys, it is well appreciated
  20. Probably this weekend i'll have all my parts to start putting the engine back together,, after my last rebuild i noticed that one of my jugs had a clean-up port job so i had to match the other jug to it as best as i could, knifed the intake and transfers, i was gonna port the case as well but decided not to,,(is it worth it?) but i was just wondering where i should start with my jets? i have some 310's laying around and was just gonna throw them in there to start,. my mods are nothing major,, wiseco pistons bored to 60, DG pipes, pro-series dual stage carbon fiber reeds, stock carbs 27.5 pilot, stock needle, k&n inbox filter with lid no snorkel, trued and welded crank, stock timing(for now) tors is eliminated but doesn't have the idle screw holes drilled. any help would be great given the fact that this is my 3rd rebuid in about 4 months cause my mechenic had no idea what he was doin i think, wasn't even a circlip for the crank in it when i tore it apart this time, i will be doin all my own work from now on! lol thanks again fellas
  21. i took my crank to get rebuilt about a week ago at my local steelership figuring i'd spend a shit load! to my surprise (not including the bearing prices) to get it pulled, pressed, trued, and welded it cost 54 bucks,, did i get burned or not? i thought it was a good deal? what has everyone else paid?
  22. on y local free classifieds(pennswoods.net) this guy is stating some pretty big words which i can find really hard to believe, don't get me wrong i like all 2-strokes 2 or 4 wheels, but these are some pretty tall words for a tecate if you ask me! http://pubat0.pennswoods.net/cgi-bin/class...ex=203643859903 so do you think this is possible? hahahahaha
  23. i had the same problem when i fouled plugs,, but check your float height
  24. compression test and leak-down test, might have leak around the intakes/carbs/crossover tube ,, good luck
  25. if you ask me i think the main jets are way too small, 200's with pipes and no air-cleaner lid?, you might wanna ask around to see what other peolpe with your set-up are running , just my opinion, atleast 280-310 mains, good luck man!
