I know it is older I also know that it was not drove for like 2-3 years (before I got it) it also has great compression 155-160 on 20cc domes. I was just wondering what you guys thought.

I have an 2001 banshee that has never had a top end and I was wondering what "wears out" assuming that the jetting is perfect. I ask because I was planning on getting it ported and I figured that if I already have it apart and it is either the rings or rings and piston I could just replace it then. Or would It just be better to get it ported and just wait till it needs to be rebuilt?

Does changing just the reeds and not the cage give you much of a performance increase or should I just spend the money and buy the whole set. Is it worth it?

I have the pro design uni filter and I was wondering if I can get different rubber boots to allow me to attach 34mm carbs when I get it ported.

I am at somewhere between 600 and 700 feet. I will just do what I can with the gallon of fuel that I can carry and hope it is enough to get back. lol

I am taking race gas with me but we go for long rides and can stop at gas stations. Most gas stations don't carry race fuel. On another note I was looking at other posts and they said they mix xylene with there pump gas anyone still do this and has it caused any problems. (Just out of curiosity)

I am going trail riding and I can carry a one gallon tank with me and there are gas stations along the way but my compression is about 155-160 psi and need higher than 93 octane which I am assuming that is all the gas stations will have. Will I be able to buy an octane booster and get away with it.

Thanks as for the TORS I have not removed them. I was planning on getting it ported this summer so I figured I would need new carbs anyway so I did not see the point of doing it.

Can I just remove the parking brake line. I know I also need to something with the safety switch there but do I need to just cut the wires and leave them open or do I need to short them. (I am assuming leave them open)

I am assuming I am rich but I would like a second opinion. Also how rich am I?

290 seems kinda low for having ported and pipes. mine only has pipes and i run 300 on the mains. what is your elevation.

I thought that I saw somewhere that the numbers ment grams per minute but I am not sure could someone help me out.

Has anyone had there porting done at PR and were you happy with it? The last time I talked to them they said it would cost me about $400-450. (I dont remember the exact price) Is this high compared to other places?

There is no way that atmospheric pressure is 11 psi. where you are. In denver, co elevation 5280 ft. the pressure is 29.75 in of Hg. which is 14.6 psi.

Thanks for the video. That is what i was looking for but I think that I am going to try just putting skis on the front because I cant imagine how much the treads cost.
