You will be better off just getting some new carbs, are you planning on running alky in the summer? Buy a set of lectrons and be done with it.

Put it in a vise, pull the brass ends off and replace the orings, thats the place they leak most of the time.

Sounds like you are just trying to make yourself look smart. Set your damn compressor to 6psi and watch the gauge, that way you have two gauges to look at. You could also put a few (10-15) gauges inline so you know for sure you are at 6psi. You could also wire in a fuel pressure safety switch that will sound a alam.

Yes, the same clip you put on the crank works on the tranny.

I always ran a full clip on mine, Im sure its over kill but why not? I have had a few different cases in my hands and some are not grooved on top only reason I said that.

You can put a full clip on the big bearing if your case is grooved on the top. Im not sure why but not all years have the groove on top.
