STOCK FOR STOCK.. 500FT. drag. ( search button isnt working for me, comes up with no results ) theres a little heated argument between my buddies about this.. and there saying the ATC(liquid cooled) will take it. any comments on this?

im starting to put my top end back together . but what do i torque the nuts on the head? top and bottom ones. inch pounds or foot pounds? and how much do i toruqe them? thanks ps: i done a search. and could not find anything

hey dude. i had a problem that when i pushed in my throttle open my sliders would stick in the carbs.. i polished them up ( to a mirror like finish ) and i havent had the trouble since. it was fine in 20 plus degree weather but it started happening when it got colder. try that.. could be something simple.

ya, im going wait untill the summer sometime to get the nose head and stuff.. just wondering now if its a good idea to do a rebuild in this cold weather were having.

got this figured out. would it be the best idea to break in the top end in minus 5 or so temps?.. or just install pistons. check compression and let it be till spring time?

done another test with a different tester and only came up to 70psi... so i went and ordered a wiseco piston kit.. but i need help with ordering the wrist pin bearing... i ordered the kit that i have marked in red. but on the left is what i need help with. the pin bearing. i dont know which one to order. any help?

test it when the motors hot? umm i didnt do that.. i done it when she was cold.. in minus 3 degree weather. does that have any affect on the reading?.. being cold?

Napa something Professional guage. i popped into my local automotive garage and got it done. so i guess its a good guage.. ill try another guage before tear down just to be on the safe side.. and yep. she sure does start on first kick.. even when shes cold. pull out the choke and first kick.

so whos the best company to deal with here? ive been comparing prices and they all seem pretty close. 10 to 15 bucks off some. F.A.S.T Racing or Noss Machine? so.. i would need. The cool head domes acorn nuts orings that it? roughly 300 bucks along those lines?

ok thanks i sent him an email.. no reponce yet though. but are these even worth getting?.. do they do anything at all besides cool the motor better? such as add more power?

so ive been looking at these noss heads. can i get one of these with the 22cc domes and just bolt it right on with stock pistons and rings? and these oring kit or something? what are these? and the 22cc domes do these add 22 more cc's? im obviously new to this stuff and have no clue how it works. ive been looking at these http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm the one at the top of the page says " no stud changing" im thinking on the red anodized one. any help with these? thanks

ya, i was just looking at the wiseco rebuild kits. there not too pricey.. 159.99.. for the pistons, rings, clips and pin. no pin bearing. im thinking thats the easy way outta this.

i guess its time for a rebuild than 94psi on each cylinder. should i go with new pistons or just a new set of rings? and ps: bike starts perfect. first kick. dont know if that has an affect in anyway

what should my compression be at sea level? im going to test it tonight to see if i need a rebuild or not. thanks Adam oh and the motor is a stock 03'..

any advantages in doing this? pros and cons? or am i just as well to go and get the wheel spacers. i have +5 dure blue spacers for the rear. and there pricey so i was thinking on turning the front rims inside out and polishing them up. Found a post about this.. no need to reply.
