  1. Yes, it can be done. I can ride my bare rims in sand but it isn't ideal
  2. Plug color will be the same with several size mains. Now before you go and say "no it won't"... I tried it... WOT pulling the plugs afterwards. Same color from 155 mains-160 mains. Plug chop is right on at 165. I was 5 sized too lean. Bike felt fine, plugs looked fine, etc. Explain that one
  3. Jesus Fucking Christ Loco... come and climb them and see for yourself. Stop trying to tell us what tires to run. We tried every tire out there... every one. Razr's, Kendas, etc. They all suck serious sweaty nuts. Mr. Loco.... answer a few questions here... 1. What tires would you run in sand? Razr's? Kendas? Knarlys? Stockers? Please tell me... No paddles either, tires in general 2. If you didn't have paddles, and paddles did not exist, what would you run? Think hard here 3. If the tires you chose did not grab enough, and every tire you chose didn't work, what would you run? 4. If you knew you needed a tire that grabbed, and dug in a little to get some traction in the coal, what tire would you run? It is similar to sand. You need traction to go... but it is different as you cannot just glide on top. You need to dig in. If you wanted to glide on top, you can run shitty tires like razr's and knarlys. Then you go nowhere. We ride here.... we live here.... we know. Swampers and paddles. Swampers last, paddles don't. End of story
  4. FMF Fatty's and Power Core 2's are one of the best trail pipes ever made...
  5. A quick ride on my playground and they would return to normal color
  6. I use shitty weedwhackers though lol I got one good one in the garage, and the rest are all wally world weedwhackers that are pretty cheap. But they last surprisingly
  7. I can buy 15 weedwhackers for the price of my top end... That is enough for me to not use weedwacker oil... the price and the headaches it saves me if that dollar general oil doesn't lube good enough
  8. Listen here pal... I got a buddy that needs these carbs and only has 250 bucks right now to spend... Is that so bad to ask the guy to come the fuck down in price? Take a chill pill. It is called business and negotiationg. And in this case, it is for a guy who needs them.
  9. I can't believe guys run weedwacker oil in their banshees... I just can't. But after some of the banshees I saw this week running so lean their pipes were orange and they sounded like a firework display, I guess some will do anything.
  10. That is what I was thinking too... Rip 'em off!
  11. Let me know if you can come down a tad in price...
  12. Everyone that has those tires has things hanging off them everywhere from flats... at least ones that climb shale coal hills with them
  13. Tire balls are not going to help him...
  14. Yes... how 'bout it. If you do a compression test, and it shows a number, but you won't believe it because you still think it should be higher, then run race gas. Problem solved
  15. Seriously man... this guy just doesn't care. He doesn't even know what jets are and doesn't care... I hate to see a banshee get abused like that. I'd rather give him whatever he wants for it and take care of it myself.
  16. Yes, fuck Dynos
  17. That red can come in 2-3 different shades... I told you I am going to match the deacals... only different color would be the headlight covers
  18. To be totally honest with you... I'd rather ride with YFZ450's and any four stroke in general than quadzillas and 250 quadracers. They can all kiss my ass. I hate them My .02
  19. Get the Swampers... either the TSL or the Vampire and go up one on the rear. You will be good to go... just like it is now with the 20" 's
  20. I had red front and black rears on the warrior. And the frame is the same color that I am thinking about doing my banshee... You can take a look at what black rears and red fronts look like and give me input if this same color frame from the same guy would look good on my banshee right now the way it is.
  21. Why do you like my plastics so much? I mean I know they are awesome and everything, and it makes it camoflauged in the coal, and you can hide from the cops and stuff. They actually look pretty good when they are shined up... I love having a bike with factory graphics. It is my first one with the factory graphics... All the others didn't have them... lol
  22. I am done chopping... I found where it goes, and I ride in the same weather all the time. Bike comes out in May and goes back in the garage in September. No need to change for me. I spent 8 bucks to make that big of a difference. And the difference between a small guy home town port and a big engine builder like HJR is night and day...
  23. Pauly John got 4 flats in 2 hours today in the Dessert. FOUR FLATS!!!!! I never get flats... he got 4 of them in 2 hours. Plugged one, came back out. Popped another, plugged it. Came back out and popped it a third time. And then a fourth. I never thought it was possible... he should go to Bejing for the all out popping tires the fastest olympics. He'd win... I'd put my house on it.
  24. I was looking at my plugs and going off of how it felt, and how they looked. I would get a local ported banshee by a couple bikes. I did a plug chop, at 160 mains, saw I was a tad lean, and went to 165 mains, and the thing just kills... raced the same bike today and I walked all over it. Basically the same mods, but mine was done by Kevin at HJR and his was done by a local machine shop. I went up on the mains, even though the bike felt and the plugs looked like it didn't have to... but the plug chop said to do it. I am happy I did. I would highly recommend it... 3-4 bikes turned into me 8 bikes ahead letting off the gas in 4th gear knowing it could have been 10-12. PLUG CHOP all the way!!! I chopped them too... and they are exactly at 2mm golden brown with the 165's. I chopped 160's yesterday and it showed 1.25mm. I know what a good plug should look like and they looked good at 158's. Let alone it ran great. Who would have thought? The plug chop is the way to go... find what it needs. Kevin at Herr Jugs Racing can do a motor. I highly recommend sending them out instead of having the Average Joe do it.
