  1. Yea, I am definately going to be running the direct drive lockout. I got it already. And the Ndown 1-5. He is very confident this motor is going to be fun once we thorw it in there...
  2. Kevin said this is going to have the power I want, low to top for my riding. I trust him like no other. This is going to be exciting. It will be able to play and run with the big boys. That should be exciting...
  3. All hillclimbs and duning/dragging for me.
  4. I ordered it Friday morning and it showed up this afternoon with the rollers and guides.
  5. I got a +4 swinger, and need the stock shock re-valved for this. Anybody know who does it, or does anyone here want to tackle this job?
  6. See, the thing with alot of these hills are they are loose. Hard packed and getting bite, yea it will fly off the handle. But in this stuff, I think I should be ok with a +4. I am going to talk with Kevin about my tranny. I have everything else all squared away, just need to iron those kinks out with what we are going to do there.
  7. How is that overide with the cub? Can it be a rideable setup?
  8. Set #2 sold, pending payment. Set #1 still available.
  9. I can assure you..... if you got them, you would love them. I had them on a stock motor, then I ported it with a bore. It ran AWESOME bot setups. These pipes have a good pull to them. Can be duned and trail ridden. All around good pipe. They are pricey, but that is because of the Stsainless Steel. No chrome rusting or peeling. Wipe these down here and there, they still look like new. They sound and perform very well. I ride weith many banshees, see many as well. Saw Paul Turners, FMF, Pro Circuit, CPI, and Toomey. Every one of them performs in their own way. But the Trinitys give you a little of everything. Power in the midrange for trail or putting. And then have that arm ripping pull for duning and draggin. They come on nicely. I like them wayyyyyy better than the Toomey T5, which my cousin has, and are supposed to be a similar pipe. The CPI has a narrower pwerband, with power coming on later and they are designed for top end. They are more of a drag pipe. FMF is another route you can take. Great all around pipe, but not the top end the trinity offers. If you went with Trinitys you woudn't regret it.
  10. Should be interesting Butch... you up for a case of beer and some splitting cases? lol
  11. Shhhhhhhhhh............ Matt and me were talking like it was supposed to be a surprise. Should have know someone was going to catch on
  12. Yes, I am going to talk more with Kevin about it for sure. He thinks it would be a good motor for what I do, I don't play like alot of guys do. Mostly hillshooting, with a dune and play put in here and there. Shoot 3 or 4 hills, let it cool. Repeat. Then maybe dune. And throw in a drag race against some four pokes and that about sums it up.
  13. 75% hillshooting, 15% playing, and 5% drag racing
  14. I am still considering the stock jugged 4 mil, I got a good deal on a set of cubs though. Really good deal. I don't trail ride at all with this machine. Not one bit. Maybe a 2 minute ride to get from my place to where we ride, but that's it. I am still considering my options.
  15. Never... I would make maybe a dollar lol
  16. 33's for playing around. Kevin said they will do just fine for the time being for the motor.
  17. A pingel is a must for sure. I plan on doing some tinkering with the tranny as well. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
  18. Atta boy... keep that baby tamed
  19. I am putting the 421 in the bike this winter, and had a few questions for the guys running them Kevin is going to set it up to run a 50/50 mix. I don't want to run straight race gas, but 50/50. I am going to run a 58mm stroke (+4mm) with the 68mm bore obviously. He has a setup already to taylor my needs with exhaust heights and the ports as well. Switching to Shearer inframes as well. I already got the direct drive lockout clutch and the cool clear lexan cover. I am getting a +4 swinger as well, with the longer chain, brakeline and all the rollers and guides. My question is, with that said, what else am I going to need for this setup. Right now I can't think of anything, but was wondering if I missed anything to have this setup run properly and safely.
  20. No, I am getting a +4
  21. Sold, pending payment
  22. You want to get the once on the bottom... it has skidplate mounts. Plus you can use the stock carrier. Since I am now going to +4, that is waht I weill be getting to accomadate the cheetah.
  23. Yes, I think so as well. Sad thing is it doesn't have much time on it, I am loosing out. Oh well, everyone looses in this sport, exceot whoever buys these puppies lol
