  1. This is why a leakdown test is so important, did you do one? this doesnt mean your intake didnt form a leak after the test though, some things we can't control.
  2. I also recomend Denny at Flotek, he does great work, has great turn around time and his prices are hard to beat.
  3. Jefffast, like i said , when i made the first post i didnt realize he had a stock jug or wanted to ride trails, that was said after my post, and i apologize for that, i didnt want to argue with anybody over this, i was just stating my oppinion and was also trying to save him some $ and headache, because like i said earlier between all the clutches/oil/gaskets and time i went through before i did the lock-out i would be ahead in the game had i listened to Dave in the first place. Thats why i stated my opinion telling him to go lock-out, again sorry if i came off differently. But on another note i ride my 421 cub everywhere and all types of riding with a lock-out and it performs great, and never have to worry about my clutch slipping.
  4. I sure did Dave, I would not even think about selling/promoting this clutch if i wasent 100% possitive it worked great. I had it on my bike for a decent amount of time with no problems, but as you know i put the overide tranny along with the lock-out in my bike so testing on my bike obviously is over on this clutch without a lock-out, but i still have the same clutch with the lock-out and no problems, but we cannot go by that due to the lock-out now. But it has been tested on other bikes as well and has held up great so far. 3 of my buddys that i ride with all have them in their bikes which i fit the bill on so I can see how it performed before i started selling them, and out of those bikes the weakest bike is a stock jug full drag, so i'd say it's a worthy clutch. I have sold many on ebay as well as a few to some members on everything2stroke and no complaints as of yet. Again though Dave, all i was stated was my opinion on this and at the time i posted i though he had a 421 cub, so i assumed a lock-out would be the way to go for him, i wish i had listened to you in the first place and did the overide and lock-out like you told me to, and I even admitted to you on the phone that you were right.
  5. Your right Dave, we did talk about this on the phone more then one time, and if you remember i had a fast clutch in my bike (which you recomended because it worked for you) with all new components, not saying jeff's clutch is not good, all i am saying is if i would of had the lock-out sooner it would of saved me alot of time and money from clutches/oil/gaskets. This is from my experiance,, not saying everybody should go that route, but it worked for me and was my fix to all my clutch problems. I was just stating my exp on the situation, i have had my share of trouble keeping a clutch in my bike an you of all people know this Dave. I also thought this 421 we are talking about was a cub when i posted the first time.
  6. I got one, let me know if you still need one.
  7. Well i disagree with you, I ride trails and all types of riding with my 421 and my lock-out was the key answer to my problems.
  8. Why? your just going to pay more for all of it, but thats your choice.
  9. I know you said it is sold but if it falls threw contact me, I will take it now, got cash in hand...well in paypal or however u need it, dam i wish i woulda seen this ealyier.
  10. I had the same problem with my 421, could keep a clutch in it for longer then 2 days. I ended up doing alot of research and testing and finally came up with my own clutch that I now sell. You can check it out at my website www.rjatv.com But if I were you I would go to a lock-out, thats the only way to go with as much power as your putting down now.

  24. Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is John and I am new here. I am a member over at everything2stroke.com and look forward to being a member here as well. I have a 2006 banshee with a cleaned up 421 cub motor on race fuel, duneable overide 1-5 with lock-up, 34mm pj's, v-force 3's, cpi bb inframes, lightened flywheel and thats about it, i dune and drag it but soon i will be building it strictly for drag being that i picked up a quadracer that i can use for a play bike.
