Thank you all very much. You can officially call me an idiot now :-) Sure it was a simple stupid problem... When I was washing my shee I taped the airbox to not allow any water in. Guess what :-) I didnt remove the tape so no air for the motor = no good :-D Than I was happy I found the mistake but still didnt fire up. Guess what, I forgot to plug one spark plug cap... LOL. But when I finally fired it up, I warmed it up and took for a little ride. Wow, I couldn't belive the difference! Now it's easier to wheelie, and also I can wheelie in 3rd gear by just pushing the half throttle... I don't think it added somuch low range, but huge midrangeand top boost! Definitely worth the money andd work, I highly reccomend it! Once again thank you guys!

Yes the shee run well before I changed the plate. I pulled the plugs and they were very wet.. What to do now?

So I unmounted the flywheel again, remountedthe timing plate to +4(i figured that it was mounted +1), checked everything and still wont start. When kicking with the killswitch on it makes the same noise aswith the killswitch turned on - it doesn't even start for a sec...

Hello, my shee did run well, but now I installed the advanced timing plate, using theproper flywheel puller etc., mounted it together and now shee wont start. Iam getting a good spark. Did I mount it properly, whenI want to advance the timing +4 as reccomended? EDIT:CAN I USE THE RED LOCTITE ON THE BOLTS? Pics: Thank you very much!

Hello all, I have almost finished my banshee build, but my last problem is with the geometry when standing. I have already ordered a lonestar +2+1 stem, fast flexx handlebars AND ims blaster foot pegs(They go straight out of the frame, notforward like the stock ones) So the bars will e more in front and pegs more in the rear, which is great. But its not standart and I cant find some final parts for it, can you please help me find a solution? -The brake pedal and shifter will be too long with the blaster pegs. Where to buy shorter ones? -The nerf bars and heel guards. Right now I have stock heel guards and some nerfbars, but neither will fit eith the blaster pegs - any advice/solution avaliable? Is there any chance I didn't mount reeds correctly and now it causes these problems instead of jetting? (esp. the lowend problem - no power)...

I already have 280 mains andd its still lean. With stock pilots and needle..

I took my snorkel off, installed stock needle on 3rd clip with 280 mains and stock pilot jets. It doesn't run bad in topend, but it totally sucks at lowend. Imho, its very weak - there is almost no smoke off the pipes. My opinion is to try 300mains with 30pilots, what do you think? Btw - there is about 10C temperature, Iam about 350 meters above the sea... I will ask my local yamaha dealer about buying jets, but if the willnot have them, can you link me some shop or ebay item with jets on anshee? I've found only jet kits.. Thanks!

Well my shee runs really bad Ill try to describe the polem asmuch as I can: I have the dynojet stage 3 needle on 4th position(is it count from the long thin side, right?) I have 280main jet and 2,5 turns out air screw. I do have choke andd crossover tubes on,and I dont have switched carb tops(hm I have tors removal kit) Only mods are T5 exhaust and kn air filter with stock airbox and stock snorkel on. When I start it, it is more quiet than it should be. There is no sharp sound when I accelerate... When I run it, the lowend totally sucks, the bottom isn't great either and when I push the throttle like 3/4 or full, it totaly loses power. I looked on spark plugs than, and they are gray-to-white-ish. So it means that It's lean. But I dont think I should go with bigger main jets. Any advice? Thank you very much for help!

Hello, so I have these mods: kn air filter in the stock airbox with snorkel, T5 pipes, everything elsemotor-wise is stock. I bought a dynojet stage 3 jet kit, so I have the following: Stock needle dynojet stage 3 needle(longer) Main jets: 190,200,220,240,270,280,340 I ride like 300m (about 1000ft) above the sea level. By the way, will I have to change my jetting after I install an adjustable timing plate and adjust it to +4 degrees? Thank you very much!

I will try to use a 3-sizes smaller main jets, is that correct? Or adjust needles? tHANKS

Hello, I installed new T5 pippes, and already had a KN air filter. I completely rejeted according to a manual, stage 3 jet kit, I dont know the sizes of the jets pilots etc. I only know the specification of the air screw - 2,5turns. I started my shee, on a first kick(not usual, used to start on 3rd-4rd kick) and warmed it up. Then it started to run ugly, a lot of smoke from pipes... I think it was overfueled.... What should I check/do? Btw: I saw somewhere on this forum a topic how to remove tors with pics..I cannot find it now, can someone post a link pls? Thank you!

A little bit loud, but I have a hush kit The only problem are still the front brakes Could someone please write an how-to fr me? Hello, Iam rebuilding my shee. I have succesfully mounted LT aarms with elka LT shocks(quadrate), it looks supercool. But I have 3 problems with other mounting: Brakes I have installed extended break lines, filled the brake fluid in, ut the brake fluid still cant get throught the brake lines to the brakes Pipes - T5 I bought a set of used t5 pipes, but I have two problems with fitting them in: Firstly, the part 1 doesn't fit to the part two on this picture: http://rs259tg.rapidshare.com/files/93983780/2.jpg Secondly, same problem.
