  1. Damn Dude ,tell us how you really feel?
  2. They still start like a drag race but they go about a mile or if its close they just keep on it, if one seems to be pulling on the other. Not really my race just curious to know if I can hang. But Im not curious any more as I picked up my bike today with the cub motor. HOLY $#!@ I had no idea the pull thiat thing would have. Very Very Very impressed. Not worried about my neighbors any more.
  3. I added a larger petcok valve and bigger fuel line. Will this still happen?
  4. Any body got some gps numbers for top end passes on their cubs. Only lookin for gas. Im trying to see what I might expect from mine when I get it back. Some of my neighbors run only top end around here. Stock tires 15 39 gears for now. 4mill, cub, infrm cpi's, 35 strykers, pods, intake, etc.
  5. Thanks for the info. I'm picking my bike up from the builder tomorrow. I decided not to tackle this job myself, I can do alot but never messed with the crank before. This one is being done for me.
  6. I like what I hear! Good, I used yamalube in my other two shees with no issues just wast sure if the cub would require something different. Thanks!!!!
  7. For the money, I would sell the t-5's and use Paul turners and call it a day. The difference in low end from a toomey to a turner is not even comparable. Paul turners hit the pipe almost immediately. I cant even ride with those damn things there so torqy.
  8. Ok, I finally decided to go with a Cub kit, 4mill, 35mm Air strykers, Cool Head, In frame CPI's, Pods, etc. I have decided on this set up based on endless nights of research on this site of other members trial and errors. This is my third banshee, but first cub motor, Hope its worth the $$$$. My question is: Does any one use Yamalube in there big bore or cub motors? Based on search info most people here seem to use Benol techniplate, or castor, motul etc. I was sold on using the benol until my engine builder told me to use Yamalube, and you know how that goes when something goes wrong and you didnt do what they told you.
  9. I ran 15 - 39 with 18's turf tamers for years and loved it. I would always pick my races. I never ran any top end with it. But for short drags, it suprised alot of bikes. I love the look of an 18!!!
  10. Air and fuel pass through the carbs and into the motor and out the pipe. The faster this happens the more power you make. Porting is removing material from the intake area on the entrance of the cylinders and other areas that air passes through in your jugs to allow for more fuel and air to pass through faster. "Not sure if I would right a book based on this info but it should put you in the right direction" !"porting make fast"
  11. You shouldnt be having any cooling issues, with no mods on a new bike, even in that heat unless your muddin with it or you radiator is blocked or something. Your going to feel some heat because your legs are right behind the pipes. I agree some pipes, filter, jet kit and go from there. I like K&N also.
  12. I would also like to go. Id rather big scrub for some fast riding. Last time I was there they didnt care if we ran all night long either. If crooms, I will bring my rhino not banshee. Too many rutted out trails and dirt bike whoops for me. But Im down for whatever. I can also bring extra water and beer.
  13. If you still have them. Can you send me a pic. Thanks [email protected]
  14. I've had the front and rear flipped w/ no issues. Its definately more stable. For the front I drilled a hole on the opposite side of the rim for a valve stem and for the inside I flipped the valve stem inside out to block the old hole, seems to work fine for a cheap mod.
  15. I searched the members for (orangecrush) and neither are from ocala? If I send my jugs away is one shop better than the other?
  16. Just wondering if anyone knows of a "GOOD" banshee shop that can port my jugs near by. I live on the East coast of Fla. North of West Palm Bch. South of Orlando (Stuart). Or a reputable shop to send them to. Thanks.
  17. Sounds good! Not much water ridin but dont wanna have to worry about that if I dont have to. I think im gonna stick w/ the box for now. Thanks. With the bike still stock, what jet's should I start with when I bolt up the CPI's 270, 290, 300?????
  18. Thanks. Some major porting coming soon. Any thoughts on the dual pods?
  19. Thanks. Sounds like im gonna order from them. I am running a single K&N in the air box right now. Do the seperate pods make much difference?
  20. I noticed on jetsrus.com that they say I dont need to change my needle only my mains, But other jet kits come w/ needles. Just wondering what I need. Just ordered CPI inframes and I need to know the best place to order get my jet kit. Besides a K&N the bike is stock. Im running in Florida. Any and all advice is appreciated! :ninja: Thanks in advance.
