how many ft/lbs should i torque my wheels

lol, i guess it was a silly question. i just thought they were torqued down to a 100lbs like a car tire, guess its just the old fashioned way, lol -
i feel for ya. i had the same problem TWICE. went riding and left my rm 250 by my buddies. the next day he took it out and went jumping. when i went to pick it up he thrashed the damn bike, busted the wheel bearings, busted the plastic, bent the rear wheel. another time i went riding again and let a buddy ride my banshee. i was on the other side of the woods with my bike so i wasnt watching. later that night im checking my banshee out and it had 3 bent wheels, motherfucker! never again. i wont even let anyone look at it anymore, i keep it under a car cover, lol

what size wheel for a 20x11-9 tire?
steenasbanshee replied to steenasbanshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
you mean 10x9?? -
i need to replace both my itp .190 pro series wheels. i bought this quad used so im assuming these wheels are 10x8 because i dont see a 10x9 in this brand/series wheel on itp's webpage or any where else for that matter. but after doing some reading, this tire is recommended for a 10x9. the more i read, the more confused i become. any one with advice please chime in!

puddles of coolant on top of my cool head?
steenasbanshee replied to steenasbanshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
great info, where is the best place to get a oring kit, ebay? -
carbs where recently cleaned and my banshee still gives me the fits when trying to start it. its been a few weeks since i started it, but i can see puddles of coolant all over the top of my cool head. i checked the coolant line that runs over the top of the head, its dry. could it bee the head gasket? although the coolant is spread all over the head, there is a bunch around the plugs...any ideas?????

bike has been sitting about a year, hasn't ran right since i borrowed to a friend. dropped it of and the service guy couldnt start it. he said the carbs needed to be cleaned. they cleaned them and put fresh plugs. they called me to tell me it was ready for pick up. had a buddy get it cause i was at work, brought it to my work, same shit
-
no, he doesn't know how to ride, doesn't even know what a clutch is, lol. he works with me and is a inner city teen. he's never seen anything like a banshee before, lol doesn't make sense. on my kx 250 i don't even have to pull the choke out, ever. even if its been sitting for months. i have the choke all the way out, petcock is 'on', i dont even wanna prime it cause i dont wanna flood the carbs. what could be the problem?

been having a hard time with banshee lately. cleaned out the carbs, sync'd them, new plugs, new float chamber gaskets and new float needles. this was all done at my local yamaha dealer mind you. they call me up saying they did all this work starts on 1 st kick runs good no break up on the top end. have a friend pick it up, brought it to my work, guess what??? at sqaure one again!!! takes 20 kicks to turn over and wont even stay idle, wtf!!!!??!?!?!?!?? what should i be looking for until monday when i call and give em hell!
