  1. notice how bad it worn and how the housing is beat up. this setup was about 2 years old and the arms were in very nice shape. no reason for that much wear unless the geometry is fucked and stressing the balljoints
  2. yfz ball joint that broke as i was pulling up to the line while hot lapping. Phelps was there. we were running way out on the big end.
  3. you wouldnt not gain much if any if you are strictly drag racing.
  4. better spend some time in the transfers.
  5. no they use an mr16 bulb. minor upgrade from stock. i run the small mr11 hid lights from them with the ballast built in. they are pretty bright but require a battery and dc conversion to work. been debating switching to led lights and ditching the battery though.
  6. these arent led or hid. just standard halogens.
  7. shit yea. get robbed of over 30% of my income. sales tax in the town i work in is 9.825. its getting stupid.
  8. i had to pay in on state. ended up with a whole $40. the front end on mine is worn out. needs bushings, 2 ball joints and rebuild both shocks since one leaks. kinda wanted to powdercoat the frame but i bet ill end up with another quickie rattlecan job. still in the midst of working on a place to live so banshee funds are non existant. i have some side work if it ever stays warm outside for more than a day at a time i may get somewhere.
  9. pics? its not worth what it costs to build unfortunately. Probably hard to sell too but i think 450 is fair. i think it would be neat to have one.
  10. syracuse is flat like the rest of kansas. been past there a few times.
  11. motherfucker needs to buy a clue first.
  12. timeserts are great if you have the room. far bettter for something that sees any decent amount of torque.

    go bang.
  14. No problems sure if you run in a straight line. Front do make a huge difference. May not be worth the hassle or expense though for one trip.
  15. By that i mean if its not strictly a drag bike dont get carried away on paddle size
  16. 8-10 paddle haulers for your buddy and 12 paddles for you. I bet even 10-11 extremes would be great for duning.
  17. No one said they werent proven. The question that needs.to be asked is are they necessary. In this situation/application?
  18. And your opinion had been noted
  19. basically. however like was mentioned while the tapered bearings are stronger the dual row is proven, popular and somewhat idiot proof. while setting up a tapered bearing will cause it to fail in short order.
  20. negative because motherfuckers want shit handed to them. It can most certainly can be done. anyone at the last 3 bhq rides has seen my old setup run. and run it most certainly did.
  21. i need a hardhat done in this! wonder if i can put it on my expense report
