  1. no issues with the chrome on the slide chipping? that is why they come with plastic ones.
  2. Bout to order one of those. Can you do better JD.
  3. Grease is a terrible idea for that area. It would be a mess. find a TFE ring from a hydraulic cylinder or similar piece of slick self lubing plastic, clamp stem bracket in 4jaw chuck and bore a groove to fit. I cut an exhaust oring to fit in mine and its better but still needs help.
  4. You let off usually because the bike stood straight up. Not cool with 100ft of trees behind you. Blah blah blah dyno dyno dyno, yet I can't remember the last time I've seen or heard of ol windy John out and about. The part of his post I love is where he starts bashing on others because he can't stand the fact someone is succeeding where he didn't.
  5. Brandon did my 392. I requested to keep the pvs. It has a fatass midrange with a wicked topend pull and the transition into power is very smooth. The design is not ideal but the benefits are real. You can chop the throttle on the side of the hill and bog the shit out of it and it will zing right back up into the power band. Why would you not want every edge you can get on the dunes. I've noticed that the majority of people who don't run power valves have track queens run on manicured surfaces.
  6. And a cheetah doesn't get dropped off at any old shop either. Block off the valves? Time for a new shop with a CLUE.
  7. Carbs need to be sized to what you have not what you want to have or a mediocre setup results.
  8. Lol warp speed.
  9. Nope. There's several guides here. Preferred regulator is the trailtech one. I could probably modify your stator for you and send it back to you with the lights. They are very bright for as small as they are.
  10. smokin deal on the top end. It is very expensive to sort one out and this one has the hard work done!
  11. I recently got ahold of some sand used in the fracturing of oil/gas wells. It eats PC pretty good without tearing up the surface.
  12. probably fine but fugly.
  13. Majority of arms with heims use sub par junk anywho. I've looked at several and there's no way I'd trust my life with them no matter how "fine" they work. And for the most part I don't like my life so.... I also run the lsr sport arms.
  14. Stainless could be used if the proper type is used. It would heavy though if think of done right. My lsr arms are quite a bit heavier than stock.
  15. Haha holy shit that's bad!
  16. I'd settle for some reports on how his shit runs from a third party.
  17. Are you in waynoka ok?
  18. What carbs does the rd350 use?
  19. There's not much simple stuff other than cleaning up the casting. You could widen the exhaust port while keeping a nice oval shape. Do not square it off. There's transfer tunnel work focusing on velocity. A modern dome design in the head would perk it up. Be careful not to change the height of the exhaust port.
  20. the kenda style sand tires ftw! dune tracker is what they call them i think.
  21. these still in oklahoma?

    Snakehunt

is anything organized at snake hunt other than what weekend its on?
  23. heat and a hammer is a terrible idea on cast aluminum. last time I used a press. Put it studs down with a plate on top and it will press all 4 out at once. Line up the knurls on the new stud and push them back in while supporting the other side with something like a deep well socket.
