I have a set of lectrons that i recently bought upp manifolds for. The carbs fit extremely loose in the manifolds. the manifolds are for 38-39 mm carbs. I was told the lectrons i have are 40 mm. Does anyone have the tech specs on lectrons and manifold fitment?
I was wondering if anyone had lowered the front end of there banshee with plus 2 arms. THis bike is just used for duning/drag-more drag i was thinking of using 14" shocks on the front to lower it a little. Any input would be appreciated The rear is a plus 6 swingarm with a probable marvin... Could also use help with proper length. The swinger will be ran with a link.
The floats are probably stuck, pick the rear end of your bike and slam it on the ground a couple of times, see if it starts. If it does pull carbs apart and make sure they are clean, also check for wear on the bowl needles.
It gets rid of the throttle overide system. It replaces the big silver box's on top of your carbs with simple caps and an idle screw. It makes carbs much easier to work on and solves throttle sticking problems. You may also want to remove thumb throttle cover and check for obstructions
Do you still have the tors system on your bike, if so get rid of it with a removal kit. check and make sure your needles are not dirty and sticking, have you modified the springs?
It sounds to me like you have your float bowls on the wrong side if theyy are your choke will not transfer fuel and cause your issue. does it start fine warm if so this is probably your problem. You could also try to add a litttle fuel manually
What is your altitude? It will not run optimaly with the carbs out of sync but if they are close it will run ok. Is the smal connecting tube still attached between the two carbs? pull the air filters and check the sync of the carbs. If it is fouling plugs it is running to rich. Do you still have air box
