also where do i find the "2 into 1 air intake" system where u just take off the airbox put this adapter on, and attch a univeraal k&n filter.

so what ur saying is that a 400 cc cheetah motor is gonna be too much for the stock equipment? sry bout all teh writing. and if it is too much, could i just put the big bore cheetah cylinders on it and it would be fine? cause i mean.. its not like im buying the 17mm crank cub motor. money isnt TOO much of a problem but id like to get it for as cheap as possible.

so imma go with the 400cc kit* (uses stock crank) chetah kit. itll work perfect. since i need new head and new reeds. =) itlll work perfect. so what carbs for this setup.

( to put on a totally stock banshee) what would i have to do to it? someone said something about shaving the heads or something like that and they said if i didnt it would hit or something? edit- found this too- http://www.trinityracing.com/products/chee...cheetahcub.html i could keep the stock crank and just buy a bigger piston and that would work cheaply and effectively.. right? and then theres this- http://www.trinityracing.com/products/chee...;products_id=85 mwhahahah! i can appaernly get all the way up too 482 cc's with the stock crank. cause i just rebuilt my motor to replace the seals and that WAS NOT FUN. so i REALLY dont want to replace the crank. EVA! so im really diggin that cheetah kit for 472. unsure on the price though. gah nvm just read it. can only get to 400 either way. i think im going to go with just the sleeves or the whole cheetah kit that uses the stock crank.. and if i want to l8r down the road i can change the crank and give it more, gonna go with the cheetah kit and go from there with the crank maybe a few onths down the road. so if this cylinder goes bad i can still bore it out to ditch the scratchs right? i dont really know how cheetah engines work and if they work the same.

ok so where do i get those and whats a cylinder block? never heard of that and my dads a mechanic..... or maybe i call it something else?

yea ok now i get it. i would like to make it a 420 so from what i understand i need to increase the stroke from the crank. ( and ya, the cylinders are BAD) 40 COMPRESSION x_x OK SO I BUY JUST STANDERED .020 OVER PISTONS, GET THE JUGS BORED, (oops caps) while theyre off imma get them ported and i want to replace the crankand i need to shave the heads? where would i be able to get lets say... a 6 mil crank? what would that make the motor? im shooting for a 420. now thst i get how this works =). anything i need to do to it when i get this done? ( besides doing the general break in stuff) wait do i need to replace the WHOLE crank to fit the 6's in there or can i just replace the rods? and with 6mil rods and .020 pistons that would make this a? money isnt too much of a problem. where i get all this. IN OTHER WORDS WHAT IM ASKING IS, HOW DO I MAKE THIS STOCK BANSHEE INTO A 420?

ok i actualy see this pretty often on banshees and i really like the way it looks. So i wanted to know where this seat comes from and where the plastics come from. wait wait wait... i cant just bore this out and put the new pistons in bigger in diameter? i probably woulda figured this stuff out l8r but... well i have a 350 now but imma bore it 30 over on each side with weisco but no one ever told me i need to replace the crank. while im doing that imma replace the head cause its f***ed up.also ima try and get it ported and to compansate for the extrA cc's imma ditch the airbox for a high air flow kit. will stock carbs work here? the POS muyuki 26's?

uh what does this thing do? as far as i can tell it just replaces the pipe with a tank. i dont know what it does though. also i need a new head took it off and it has dents in it :/ will the same head work for a stock 350 and a bored out 410? just wondering. thx (im going with a cool head) also what cc should i get? ( i dont know what that is if someone could inform me) didnt know u could have cc's for a head.

also it turns out that i cant buy bigger carbs so will stock 26mil carbs work for all the above stuff? (with the proper jetting of course)

i looked on the k&n website and all they have for a no airbox setup is universal filters that u have to buy 2 of. where do i buy this 2 into 1 kit? i really need it cause my bro got brake clean on my airfilter and it basically just dissolved it:/ thx

so i wanted to know what is the kit that k&n makes that u just take off the air box and they give u a dual air intake thing that u attach to both carbs using 1 airfilter. I think its round. my friend out at the trck had one one day and i forgot to ask him what it was called. but it has no airbox and that what i want. thx. can u run stock suspension on an extended swingarm? what about the chain? where do i get an extended chain? what carbs do you recommend for a banshee bored over to a 410? cause imma bore it over to a 410 in a few weeks and i need new carbs cause the dumbass before me for some reason, APOXYED MY CARB SHUT! so now i need new ones. ( compression is at 40! O.o) where do u order the wiesco pistons? and whats the specs? cause i went online before, and once found this page that sold them but it gave me this mumbo jumbo like, 64/176 or something like that. best reeds for this stuff? ( i have t-5 toomeys on it.) anyone know a place to get cheap porting done in az? anything elser i need to do when i bore it out? and is the spark plug gap the same? thx yall

has anyone ever actually bought and used that 700cc cheetah engine kit from trinity racing? i can only imagine the kind of power that would have. i used to have a 500 quadzilla and that was awsome but 700cc DUAL CLYLINDER? thats just crazy.. so does anyone have that? do u have a vid of u riding it? id like too see how it runs.

it didnt stick, it was pouring gas into the motor at an uncotorlable rate which caused well... u know and whar freaked us out was it didnt stop cause we disconnected the spark plug connecters. that was freaky

.... ok so i was riding right... and i have an old 89 banshee thats in.. less then considerable condition... ( the pistions had 35 psi in each when i got it ) and the carbs are the original ones. So i notice when im riding i lost all my powerband at the bottom end but once it hit the high rpm's it was fine so we deduced it was the float stuck. So were just kinda sitting there letting it idle, watching it spit the unignited gas out the exaust, when all of a sudden the thing starts SCREAMING in so high rpm it was rediculas. ( not achiveable by hitting the throttle in all the way O.O) so were like oh shit, kill it! hit the killswitch, IT DOESNT STOP. were like.. uh oh. So then.. were trying to figure out how to stop it when we say **** it, and disconnect the spark plug connecters. And heres where it almost happened. IT DIDNT STOP AFTER WE DISCONNECTED THE SPARK PLUG CONNECTORS. SO NOW W HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO, its screeming like crazy with no way to stop it, all of a sudden it goes BOOM! and shoots fire from the pipes from the unignited gas in the pipe, blows a hole in my expansion chamber, and dies. so after this we were like.... WOAH. And thats what happens when carb problems go bad so for the sake of your quad, check ur carbs every time before u go riding. Or that^ could happen P.S.- after we waited for a few minutes cause we were all freaked out, we started it up and works great again. (minus the hole in my expansion chamber:/)
