  1. I have run a set of bb on my 4mill stock cylinder bike, but with 34pjs. I still ran consistant 4.3s which are the same times I was running with the small bores I normally ran. If I were you and had the choice, id run small bores. But if you could get a killer deal on the big bores, id say run em. He means if the motor bogs or you let off and fall in rpms, it will take longer for the powerband to kick in.
  2. Those are big bores How much for the crank? Lockout and cover?
  3. Basically to run a Marvin Shaw, generally for drag racing
  4. Damn JD, I think you jinxed yourself.
  5. Did you make shur both carbs were jetted correctly, its most likely running away from you because it is running lean. Is it colder outside now. The cold weather will do this if it was fine when it was warmer.
  6. Damien has very nice stuff, that 4 mill setup is great too. Good luck buddy!!
  7. Ill take the kicksart. whats your paypal?
  8. Throw a bright color tribal or something along them lines, or something on top of the black and make it pop, and it would look badass. Thats what I would do. And geeze, take those marvins to your local polisher. lol
  9. Another picture of that beautiful dune truck. :yelrotflmao:
  10. Tim is a great guy. Everything was as promised and delivered promptly. Thanks Tim
  11. Well Dave to give you some thought, there are a couple guys that we race with that have 10dms and another buddy that has a 14 mini and they seem to be toe to toe every time. This is at the dunes also. As far as at the track another buddy that we race with has a 10dm in a ridgid and he has made a couple 3.5 passes on it and he is around 190-200lbs, and our tracks seem slower up here compared to others. And the suspended 14 mini and the other suspended 10dm have both seen 3.8s possble 3.7s Im not 100%. So if I had to say stroke for stroke, since the mini is only 76.5 bore (that one) versus the 78 bore. The DM seems to Dominate. Just my .02. No one bust my balls! lol
  12. Yeah you know how we roll. lol Topend SOLD, Pending payment!!!!!!
  13. Thanks guys.
  14. This topend is almost as new as you can get it. It only has maybe an hours worth of ride time on it. Bought new and cleanup port by D&M racing. Everything is in excellent condition. The domes in the head are cut for this setup and works excellent, comes with new o-rings, cut 20cc domes, 180psi with .020 base gasket. All new studs and nuts from yamaha. Intakes included which were bought new when built only a few months ago. Ive only been to the track once long enough to make more than 2 passes on it and easily went 4.00's everytime with it. The only reason Im selling is to put a bigger top end on, thats it, nothing wrong with this setup, its ready to ship the next day, no games here. Reeds not included. Any other questions just ask or pm. $1250 shipped, insured, add 3% for paypal Last passes before torn apart
  15. Bump for some nice stuff and a great seller!
  16. Ive sen these carbs on JD's bike, and they look way better in person, the pics dont do them justice. Plus JD is a great guy and does not own anything but top notch. Good luck buddy, someone will pick these beauties up.
  17. Yeah, theres a difference between alot of horsepower and too much horsepower, I mean shit these things are originally built with what? 40 hp. And know where putting as much horsepower as a sedan. I wonder where it will end.
  18. Yeah I agree with you on that one. And then if your gonna spend the money to go billet you might as well go bigger than a 10mill right, I mean hell whats 8 or 9 grand on a quad motor, lol
  19. Titan Racing is working on an adapter plate for the DMX's on stock cases.
  20. Yeah the twister cylinder is going to take alot of work to compete with the DM. And twister does have a 78 bore setup for the 10mill. Either way plan on a good 500-600 for case work. And probly a few hundred more for the DMX. THe DMX is fairly new so I think it will take a little time, but I think it will be the new hot thing. But big $$$$. The torgue difference is where you will see the major gains in these large bore motors.
