I need to know what I should jet my banshee at. I am from michigan and I an not sure what my sea level is and wanted to know If someone from michigan could chime in on this one. It usually gets around 30 degrees. I have LRD pipes, Stock carbs and I plan on getting the K&N filters. Anybody know what I should jet my carbs at?

Wasnt this motor just sold on ebay? I could of swore the auction ended at $811 + $125 for shipping like 2 days ago. TTT Anyways nice equipment.

Holy shit I dint know this was going to be so complicated :: . I will take in consideration sending the domes in but I think for now I will run my stock head and just get some VF3's or something. Which one will be the most noticeable gain? The motor has a true and welded hot rod crank, ricky stator with adjustible timing plate I have some cheap ass pipes that came with the bike that I have never even herd of before they are LRD's if you guys have ever herd of them before and thats about it. The cool head is off another motor I have and what Ducman said about blowing a motor made me have second thoughts about slaping on the cool head.

Just wanted to know what the difference was between a truned and welded crank vs. stock crank. I wanted to know what truned and welded meant. The motor that I bought is supose to have a truned and welded hot rods crank in it. By the way I looked and found 21 on the edge of both domes so im asuming that they are 21cc domes. Thanks for the help guys.

Damn that is a lot of work just to find out the cc's. Think ill try the syringe method first. Any input on the truned and welded crank.

I bought the motor with the domes on it and I just wanted to know for sure what size they were. Guess I will look harder or do the syringe thing.

Couple questions for you guys. How do I tell how many cc domes are in my cool head. I looked all over them and I dont see any numbers that would tell what they are. Also what is the difference between a hot rods truned and welded crank and a regular stock crank.What does the truned and weld mean?

Were do I get the manual?

Ok so I got the cylinders off and the heads now how do I remove the pistons from the crank? How do I tell if the pistons are good or bad same with the cylinders. Also should there be rubber O rings on the pistons? Question about the carbs how do you tell if they are good or bad they seem to have a shit load of globed oil on them like the guy was mixing his gas real rich with the oil or something. If I clean them up real good will they be fine? These might sound like dumb questions but bare with me this is my first banshee and she needs some work so im going to be asking alot of questions.

I bought a 96banshee and the guy said that it locked up in 5th and 6th gear. I pulled the motor so I can split the cases and see whats going on in there. My question is I took off the 8 bolts that hold the cylinders on and tried to pull them off, They will not move. I was pulling pretty damn hard too and they dint budge its like the seal melted or something and welded the cylinders to the bottom end. So then I tried to take off the cool heads and im having the same problem seems like they are welded on by the seal. How do I get these things off? ::

Just like it says im looking for a banshee stock motor for a good price or a good complete bottom end for a 96 banshee. Let m know what you have. I guess the motor doesnt have to be stock just something for a good reasonable price.
