  1. no one needs a banshee how about $2500? i really don't want to put it on ebay
  2. ok my bike has been sitting for about a 5 or 6 weeks and today i stated it up and i let it warm up and then i shifted in 1st and i noticed the bike kinda moved forward, with the clutch in i rev the bike just a little and the bike moved forward. so i thought i would just ride it anyway ( thinking that the oil just needed to cirulate) so i rode it down the road and then i went to a stop and the bile was still moving when i rev it even a little with the clutch in. i know how to adjust a clutch but the thing it, the clutch was perfect last time i rode it. does any one know what could cause this. thanks

  9. +1 on the type f ive been running it for years
  10. probably just some f**ked up shift forks
  11. let me break this down. the closer the top of the piston gets to the dome the more compression, so if you bought a gasket set that had thicker gaskets than that would make that distance between the piston and the dome bigger so you lose compression.
  12. i am thinking of selling my bike to get something faster and i was wondering what to sell it for. 2001 banshee, stock frame, +4 swing arm chromoly tube, (honda style, powder coated black with billet bearing carrier), marvin shaw shocks all around, race cut plastic (blue), motor ported by black label racing, has a fresh bore (.040" over) new wiseco pistons and rings, new hot rods stock stroke crank and rods with tz bearing, pro design cool head with 19 cc domes. billet timing plate advanced 5 degrees. two mikuni tm 34mm carbs, billet intakes with vforce 3's, fmf fatty pipes painted black. barnett clutches and springs and some chrome stuff here and there. motor has 185 psi on both cyl. runs on VP 110 race gas with Castor 927 oil. so whats a good asking price for this bike?
  13. you said that you rebuilt you top end, meaning you changed your gaskets? the thickness of your gaskets will change your compression to. take a piece of 1/8 soldering rod and check the squish. Mine is at .042", you dont want it under .040"
  14. i just got my v-force 3's and mikuni tm 34mm on and the thumb throttle is very stiff. so stiff that it is hard to ride all i can do is speed shift. i looked to see if there was anything pinching the line or something making it stiff but nothing. does anyone have this problem with there bike? or does it loosen up after a while? thanks
  15. and i have also dropped the price to $400 shipped
  16. trying to get pics on my computer, i am having problems, i will have them up soon.
  17. that's what i thought. it just didint make since. i have seen stock trannys shift with outframe drag pipes. and they shifted fine. but thanks.
  18. i don't know if this is a rumor or true but, i have heared that the shearer small bore inframe pipes rev so high that you can't shift the bike on a stock trans. the motor is turning such a high rpm that it wont shift unless you let of the gas, so no speed shifting. is that true? does anyone have any on there bike? thanks
  19. who has the best price on CPI's inframe small bore pipes? Thanks alot.
  20. Sorry, i need the carrier for my next swinger. and i will get some pics up.
  21. i have a +8 chrome swing arm, with both chain rollers, it is made out of aero tube chrome moly. i paid $750 for it with the carrier and rollers. It is in great shape just to long for my 350 motor. so i am just selling the swing arm with the rollers. I would like to get $450. If you are interested and would like some pictures. just PM me. Thanks
  22. i recommend, Black Label Racing, its the same guy that built the frames, and motors for Southern Style Racing, he just bought the company and changed the name. and its in Louisiana.
  23. thats right, 1mm is .0394 of an inch which it is rounded up to .040
