  1. i have another 03 that i broke the cases on. so i pretty much have everypart except- steering stem, carrier, head;ight .
  2. 03 z400 with athena 434 big bore,hot cams,hmf pipe, nerf bars, did cam chain, 05 style subframe, plus 2 a arms,etc have many extra parts for this bike.. head with cams, cylinders, pistons, frame, plastics, rims , a arms etc i would like to trade for a nice banshee.. i need to get back to the two stroke smoke!!! email me a t [email protected] for pics

  4. i am looking at a set of plus 3 plus 1 a-arms the guy said they are ugly racing? they have heim joints and are adjustable. anybody ever hear of em? are they any good??
  5. thats all i run at 80wt as well i love it and wouldnt use anything else!!
  6. ya that is where they are hitting lets just say they got clearanced a little! lol hopefully it doesnt affect performance to much

  8. ya i had to give up for the night before i threw then at the wall! lol it just seems like there is no possible way for them to fit
  9. so i bought a set of pt mids used i received them today and tried to mount them and immediatly ran into problems. It seems like the top of the pipe is hitting the frame preventing me from bolting them up. i thought the may be for a j arm frame so i called duncan and they said they are al the same. so my question is has any one else had these problems? any tips? it seems like the top of thepipe needs to be dented to clear the frame??

  12. hey i just took off the head and i noticed i can move my pistons side to side in the cylinders shouldnt be this way should it?

  14. ya sitting that long the carbs will def be dirty make sure you put the bowls back on the right carb and dont forget the choke tube between the carbs the boxes on top are the tors crap i would look into a tors removal kit because tors is known to cause a lot of headaches
  15. hey i had the same problem and it ended up being a sheared flywheel key
  16. sounds like a clogged main trying cleaning the carbs and see if it still happens
  17. the oil from the pipes was most likely from your fuel maybe running rich? what color was the smoke coming from the pipes? did it smell like two stroke or a old car burning oil?
  18. mine did the same thing check your parking brake switches or you may have dirty jets
  19. i had the same problem when my flywheel key sheared it got worse as it got more out of time
  20. i would go to the next size smaller main sounds like it is to rich like stated above do a plug chop it will tell you exactly how your motor is runing

  22. let me just make sure i am describing hard shifting correctly when i pull up on the shifter at times like it is not grabbing anything like the shifter is just free moving i noticed the spring on the claw that grabs the shift star is pretty much shot i am not trying to beat a dead horse on the whole shift shaft theory i am just trying to eliminate any possibilities before a tear down anyway thanks for the help and replies!! paul
  23. well i dont know what to think now i adjusted the clutch a little and took it out for a ride it seems to shift a lot better now the only time it seems to shift hard is between 2nd and 3rd but it isnt to bad is it possible one fork is bad?
