  2. hey i have a mint 2001 kx 250 it has renthal bars, acerbis hand guards, pro circuit platinum pipe, reeds and spacer, this bike is mint barely a scratch on it!! tires are practically new front and rear, no rips in seat etc etc anyway i am looking to trade for a quad so let me know what you have i am located in new york and will send pics on request just send me a e-mail address and i will send em thanks paul

  5. hey my banshee was stolen today from my front yard!! it had whit fenders fronts where cut, blue tank shroud, white and blue seat, blue frame, black a-arms and swingarm, chrome fatty pipes, crome skull cutout on the radiator. located in warwick new york if any hears anything drop me a line thanks paul
  6. the suspension is all stock carbs have tors removed and a twist throttle clutch is a barnett not sure on the reeds swinger is stock
  7. just wondering what a 01 banshee with the following mods is worth- 4 mil hot rod crank, new pistons ,coolhead, trinity pipes, low end port ,about 15 hrs on the motor. alba graphics great shape and very clean!!
  8. hey i know the fzr had a problem with the valves not sure exactly what but i heard that from a couple people when iwas looking at one last summer
  9. thanks for all the replies the clutch is a brand new barnett so i dont think that is it and i believe it is between 3rd and 4th gear that it happens it only happened twice so far so i am not positive and yes when i click it up again it goes to the right gear so maybe the shifter is habging up a little some how??

  11. hey got an new issue with the banshee i was out riding yesterday and it ran great but two times when i was running it hard on a hill climb i would go to shift and it seemed like it missed the gear and just rev as soon as i clicked it up again it would go. it only did this twice both times on a hill. when it was on flat ground it would work fine it was almost like the clutch would hang or something letting it just rev out??? any ideas??

  13. i just got done riding and the shee rode awesome!! when i was putting it away i noticed that the vent lines on the bottom of the bowls where wet and had been dripping i am assuming that this is normal?? is that correct? thanks
  14. WOW just got done putting in a new barnett clutch and springs it is like a night and day differance!!! the machine is an animal i had no idea how much power i was losing due to clutch slip!!!
  15. when your replaced it did you splice the wires in or did it run through the harness and go into the plug itself? i just bought one from ricky stator and am waiting to get it
  16. ok here is the deal i pulled my side cover off today to replace my shift shaft seal while it was off i noticed my pickup coil housing was cracked and there is movement in it i know ricky stator sell replacement pickup coils my question is have any of you done this? i am assuming it is as simple as disassemble splice in the two wires for the pickup and go?? thanks for the help

  18. hey my shifter shaft seal is leaking not real bad but enough to aggravate the hell out of me my question is can i replace this seal without splitting the cases??
  19. hey i just rebuilt my motor and got it running it runs great no bogs anywhere and it idles great i was just wondering about my air mixture screw i am 0ne turn out on these screws does that sound right?? thanks
  20. i just had the same exact problem drained the fluids pulled the cover replaced the o-ring and it is perfect
  21. i also have a adjustable timing plate and if i do go to plus 4 timing what change on jetting would be needed?
  22. ok i finally got my motor done!! these are the mods .80 over cylinders with basic clean up port, pro lite pistons, carbs have tors removed, air box with k&n no lid ,fmf fatties, and i live in new york about an hour north of the city i am thinking of starting with a 310 main 25 pilot and needle on the middle clip sound good? any suggestions? thanks
  23. ok i want to install a adjustable timing plate my question is what else do ihave to do when i advance the timing? rejet? and is any other parts needed besides the timing plate? thanks
