well the best place to get stock oem parts is put what u need in the wanted section here. I no ive got lots of hardley used or not used at all parts layin around or in containers on the shelf. You can also check with us site sponsors and get some prices. I can get you a discount from RMATV and get you some great deals on all modquad parts and accessories. If your going to spend the money to port and since your jugs will be off do a topend rebuild at the same time. Its not much more money wise really. Ecspecially if you use us site sponsors for your work. Hit uo Kevin at herr Juggs or Jeff at fast. They can take care of your porting needs and port to your riding style. You can also get all your topend parts from them od me and do the work your self. Its simple. Also if you plan on adding any power to your motor like the porting will do haveing your crank trued and welded is a must. the time it take to take it out and the small fee it will cost to have it done is a hell of alot cheaper than having it split on your brand new rebuilt and ported motor. Its a huge investment. Think smart when you start modding for more power. Theres many other mods you can do first also before porting. Advance timing, reeds, carbs, k&n filters, pipes.coolhead, ignition. Build as you can but trust me on this one "dont take short cuts" it will cost you 3x or more if something goes wrong or you lose a crank. Just spend the money and do it right the first time. good luck dude.

At what length is a aftermarket rear shock needed whwn going with extended swingarms. Im putting a +6 on and was wondering if i need to get a diff. rear shock, or will the stock one still work. Thanks for any info.

Do you still have the tors on it? If you do check all the plugs and make sure everything is connected and no wires cut or ripped. If you do have it you may think about a tors elimenator kit. Unleash some hp. Put some new plugs in to. may have fouled one. The coolhead needs to be retorqued a few times after installing it. I think its 12# . The orings are crucial when installing it. If one slipped out or is just bad the head is going to leak. Put a little dab of vasaline on th rings and it will help them stick when putting it on. Dont think you have a major problem. Proly something simple. Start with the easy stuff first. Shoot me a pm anytime.

Agreed. There are decibal limits in our riding areas. Louder pipes are cool ya, and I love the loud pipes save lives motto, but it just gives all the tree huggers, and rich people building there ridiculouse house in our dunes that you dont want to piss off. theyve got money and when it comes down to it the feds can and will just shut down the riding area because of nois pollution and all the other crap we do that is so horribal. Just do us all a favor and follow the guidlines set forth for your area. Loud pipes dont make you any faster, but they do have the possibility of losing more riding area. just my .02
