  1. I bought these pj's off of ebay for 80.00 bucks. If now one likes the pj's what do you all run. I hope these work good with my setup, butt if they don't what should I switch too. Also I know nothing about jetting. The mechanic at the local four wheller shop is going to jet for me. I have been seaching though the fourms and reading everything here but still not comfortable enough to do it myself. How will I know itf it is jetted correctly or not. Also were do i get parts for these carbs like different sized jets and slides?
  2. I was planning on getting some porting done. I seen on someones sig the company name flowtek. Does anybody know anything about them. It seemed like their prices were pretty good. I would like to get the mx port for good low end grunt but i don't want to lose any topend. Is there a good port for more power in everypart of the powerband or do you only get low, mid, or high?
  3. Yea, I pretty much go in a straight line, There are no dunes there. Pretty much just flat and straight. I would also like a tire that works on dirt for drags just as well
  4. I run the br7es that is a little hotter plug. Is that bad.
  5. I don't get to ride that much in the sand, but I go to St. Joes in Missouri often. I've been running my pro wedges there, but I think I need to go to a regular paddle set-up. But I don't want to loose my performance with the paddles. What tire do you suggest. The sand there isn't too deep but the 450r's that I ride with use sandstars but what is the best for banshee's.
  6. Okay I will take a look at the slides to check the number. When I put these carbs on lets say I need to ajust the idle or choke. Will I have to adjust the idle/choke on both or will one choke work.
  7. Okay I don't really know how to explain this but I will try the best I can. Here goes... I took my carbs up to the local four wheeler shop and they mic'd the inside of the carb and one was one bigger than the other looked like someone was trying to do a home made port job. Next is that I looked at the slides and I noticed that in the center of the slide there is a little lip in the middle. Both of the slides close fully but the other doen't seem go down as far as the other. Is there a difference in the one used for the choke?

  9. Since the motor is fresh and I'm not the best rider in the world but I can hold my own. I'm just new to banshee's. How do I check the portwork? I will also say the topend wasn't fresh when i raced them. Since the last time I raced them I have added the timing plate, pj34's, and the prolite pistons. I hpoe this makes difference. Do you think the dual pj 34's arre too much carb for my mods.
  10. Okay here is the deal. I have the current mods in my sig. Now they question I am wondering is if I have too much carb for my mods. I am running dual PJ 34's. Is this going to be too much carb.

  12. What jetting should I be at on my pj 34's with my mods in my sig? I am in the bootheel of missouri elevation is 368ft above sea level.
  13. I just got this motor rebuilt so the compression should be good. Yea the 450r's that I raced have full exhaust, hrc kit, wideslide carb, and cdi box. Are there any upgrade cdi boxes for the banshee?(other than the pvl system that is hella expensive) I heard of something called a roost boost does it work. But if you are beating them with your mods, I should also right?

  15. I am 5'11" 205lbs all muscle I get good traction out of the hole, and we are even. Then after the end of 2nd gear he starts to go byebye...and more byebye. Now the stock 450r's yea they are road kill. But the 4 guys I ride with have the hrc kit. Now with that said the last time I raced them before the pj34's and the timing plate. When I raced them I had stock carbs and stock timing.
  16. I here you guys on here all the time talking about how you waxed a 450r. But my friend has one and I have the mods listed below. I can't keep up with him. He gets me out of the hole and I don't pull him any. I know that hrc kit wakes them up but I thought we were suppose to come back on the top end. Now in the sand with my pro wedges and them with there sand sharks I eat them up because the tires swell and I get more topend but is there something I'm missing or is these just the nature of the beast.
  17. OK, I just bought some pj 34's for my banshee. Do I have to replace the rubber boot that hooks the carb into the reed cage or will the stock one work? Are these worth the hassle?

  25. I bought a set of 34 pj carbs for the banshee. Before I had the stock carbs on with the tors. Do I need another cable. Can I reuse the old stock one. If I need a new one where can I find one.
