  1. ching chong on the ebay
  2. A tether isn't hard to wire up. I've had one for years. I had Kompulsive incorporate that in my harness when I order it many months ago. Works perfect. I meant I did not care for a twist throttle.
  3. I had that. That lasted one riding trip. I also ordered a tether kill switch when i got home. Long story and lots of pain.
  4. Then I missed up a good swing arm to fit a carrier he failed to check dimensions on. Oh well. That's what I get for not giving him time to respond to the problem. My fault.
  5. Don't listen to that control. My 6+ is great for playing around. Many recommended at least a +6 to keep the front down, some longer. So I'd say 5-6
  6. In the future, ill be getting a stock length fireball swing arm. If their swing arms are as good as their LR a-arms, you cant go wrong. I was not pleased with my turbo chassis +6 swing arm. I had to take some metal off of each side where the carrier goes so i can slide the carrier c-clip in.
  7. That's when I adjust the top of the carb caps so i can sync them. Then once done i now make sure when my thumb presses it WOT, both slides are all the way open in the bore. If not, the more open side will run lean.
  8. honda 99-07 400ex 95-03 foreman 400
  9. I was sick of my stock throttle within billet extender within minutes of my ride the other day. So i got a honda one in without a logo. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02187_zpszaej6mpo.jpg If i dont like my ODI grips with it, im going back to glue on. I'm particular about my space from my hand to the thumb throttle.
  10. Buy a new tire. Patches don't hold well where the rubber will flex or bounce. Atv tires don't have steel belts so there's no way I'd trust that and have that end a days or weeks riding waiting in a replacement tire.
  11. I would get driveline to have a stock head cut to accept domes just because i like the stock look. I'm going to be redoing my super serval engine top end in a few weeks. I'm not looking forward to all the freakin orings. However a little oring safe grease to help them stay goes a long way in helping things stay put. I usually order two complete sets of orings so if i mess some up, i have a spare. Oring safe grease, tq wrench and a leak down tester are all i really use besides simple sockets/wrenches. I screwed up my top end 3-4 times since i've owned my bike. Ruin domes every time for different reasons. Domes are cheaper than a new milled stock head to get you back to where you were. Disclaimer: my bike came with a noss cool head long time ago so i never experienced the simplicity of a stock head.
  12. I just checked my main, 180 on my 39s. Ima go take a seat with my 521. Be safe out there.
  13. I'd only be concerned with extending LED life. What's the life difference of LED's with and without a battery? If I can get 10-20 hours then I'd be ok
  14. Why a battery?
  15. Any one have links to where I can read about those big spread bore builds? I'll never do one but I would enjoy reading about them. I haven't see some here.
  16. That's far more expensive than what I did. But you get far more light. Is the quality of those led units better than the China stuff most get for $16-$20?
  17. here's my brackets made by sheerider. Mines wired via ac/dc converter box then all through a Kompulsive Concepts harness. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02184_zpskzk8hhxt.jpg http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02186_zpsnpgttkjq.jpg
  18. Jesus, what lights are those?
  19. I'll post when I get home if I remember. Someone fabbed me some mounts so it works with stock mounts on the frame. I don't like the idea of removing stock headlight mounts. If someone could cnc a pair in the $20-$30 to work with stock mounts, they would do well.
  20. Yeah, should be about a month.
  21. What carbs and main jet you used? Also what gearing you used to put a good load on the engine in just 5th gear? When i my engine is back together, im going to attempt a plug chop in 6th. I'm not crazy about doing 90+ to do it. But it will be fun!
  22. For a little while.
  23. I know. I'm just informing you your bike will haul ass. And that's before you hit the power band. Even though servals arent known for top end monster, youll be very happy with the top it. It pulls damn good up top.
  24. Youll be fine with your low end on your bike. There's no reason you should need more. Mine will brake 22" CST pulse tires @ 5psi loose before the power band with 15/41 gearing. Yours will be more powerful.
  25. She has one bigger than you
