Thanks for the info, still dont know what i want to do, i think the more protection the filter has the better esp. with the amount of silt in the area i ride i think it would be better keeping the airbox compared to taking it out and installing pods

so is there a differance between a regular k&n and the pods power wise?

Need some help, What is better pods or a standard k&n filter in an air box? I went through the search and didnt get answer I wanted. right now im useing a uni foam filter and have fmf pipes on the bike... I mostly ride in ocotillo wells which is hard pac and for the most part really dusty... would like to know which will give me the best bang for my buck?? please let me know what I should get.. :shrug:

The same kind of thing happend to me, when i was 20 i was trying to buy a honda civic that i saw in the trader, went and talked to the guy about the car test drove it and, went to the bank to get the cash and when i got back the guy had sold it... so two weeks later the car was in the trader again from the guy that bought it turns out the tranny went bad and the motor blew up on him all at the same time. he bought it for something like 4500 and had to sell it for 500 haha.... i have a set of chewed up haulers if you want them

even with a contract i would never loan a friend money, always turns into some bs... same with working for friends or living with friends never had any luck with any of it

i dont think it will be too bad out there, once you get moving it will be fine out there, i went out there this time last year and it wasent bad at all.... and make for better riding weather at night
