what differences are there between an 87 stock and a 90 stock? I cant find many parts for an 87 and im talking to a guy about i think its a 90 swinger. will it fit or what mods will i need to make it work......brakes system different?? etc. thanks Jim

yea.......i like the way it runs w/ the clamp ons. right.....lol ya know, with all that motor i got i just for the life of me cant understand why i couldnt use a 15 or a 16 tooth front sprocket...... :shrug: :shoothead:

they said that they dont usually let people retro fit silencers with screens......I would suggest you pick up the clamp on sparkies. thats what im going to do...

what the hell is a witch eye?

my bike was doing something similar. i had a VERY weak spark the only time i could see it was in a dark garage. I took the wiring harness off, shortened it, pulled off all the butt connectors that the yahoo before me had on there, made sure all the connections were soldered good, and taped it up. BEAUTIFUL spark now. from expierence, will knock the s#$t out of ya. IMO its in the wiring like the above posts said Jim

hey loco..... just curious, but if you bought one in canada paid in full, couldt you bring it back to the states, and then go down to the secretary of state (or whatever gov't agency handles it for you in your state) and register it as a custom built bike w/o a vin?
