  1. yep drain your tranny fluid, coolant, you have to take off the R foot peg, your kickstarter, the breather tube comming out of the top of the clutch cover by the water pump spigot(SP) take out the nine cover bolts dont strip them they are a pain to get out!!! your coolant hose through the cases will be very snug so you may have to wiggle it a bit to get her off. try not to pull your kicker out with it, since your new it could be a pain for ya! then you have complete access to the right side of your engine.

  8. me personally i would not buy any type of metal impeller, I have witnessed in several applications where the metal impellers make grooves in the clutch cover where the impeller rides on the clutch cover surface...IMO modquad or pro design needs to make a impeller that flows just like their billet ones, but make it out of a high quality plastic.

  14. it may work for the back woods kinda guy that only uses his bike at half throttle, but if your racing you are at WOT most of the time and that nonsense at half throttle is just boopucky. its the same concept of the little rubber stuffers that you put under the slides in the carbs to do the same effect of the power now thingy. also when you look at their diagram it shows the piece of tin foil at both ends of the carb, now on a banshee, if your going 1/2 throttle this means your air is going straight down the bottom of the carb...to the "bottom" half of your reeds and the reeds do not open the full opening of your intake so that means the air is going to go UP to the top of the intake instead of down into the bottom where it needs to be directed. if you want a more direct charge of your air/fuel into the cylinder you need to "stuff" the upper part of your intake to shove all that mix into the bottom of the intake.
  15. is a turbo considerd a minor upgrade??? lol
  16. if you do polishing for a living then 12 hours to do a clutch cover that thing better look like glass when its done, I do a clutch cover in about 3 hours and it looks good. as for the thumb throttle Cover it takes about 15-20 min for me.
