  1. We just sanded my brothers down the other day in like 2 hours. I didnt do the undersides as good as the tops but there wasnt much to do. We did my brothers undersides and they look dang good. You can sand them down by hand pretty quick. I havent riden it yet so I dont know how it will hold up.. i would imagine if you keep it rubber side down it will work fine.
  2. Im with chase... green is the way to go... but the bike is blue now so, yeah.. its blue.
  3. Those actually are not clear coated yet... Its been too cold to do it so they are still waiting for clear. Im just going to use krylon brand clear. It has worked well on other things ive seen. Thanks for the props on the paint job!
  4. Sorry man, I think he is going a different color route on his, but if he sells the seat cover I will let you know. He is going with a solid black gripper like the one I just put on... Thanks for adding those pics though, that is a nice cover.
  5. No, the power on a two stroke comes from the head pipe, not the silencer. Its the shape, size of the head pipe that does it for a two stroke..
  6. How is the hat/ skullie idea coming along?
  7. My wife is always stressing out over school... I didnt go to college so no.... im good, no stress LOL... :yelrotflmao:

  10. Good stuff, thats the kind of info Im looking for. I thought about doing just what you said, but then thought maybe a helicoil would be better. Thanks NYUK
  11. Has anybody every used a helicoil thread repair kit? If so how did it work out for you? I have 3 stripped clutch case bolts in my cases and need to repair them, will they work for this? Let me know your thoughts, or other ways to fix it. Thanks in advance fellas!

  13. BUMP
  14. Gonna need to know your altitude before anybody will be able to help you much.
  15. The big thing is mileage... Where I live 50 miles from town, I would have the mileage so high I couldnt do it. I would take payments to own something vs. rent it...
  16. I tested a piece of plastic with fusion, bent it pretty hard and it didnt break or chip the paint so its good stuff. Like sheefreak said though, if you roll it or bash a tree in trails, you are gonna be painting again... but its fun so no biggie!..
  17. Very soon... very soon my friend LOL... Ive been really busy and havent had time to do much, but its gonna be done here shortly, then my signature wont looks so gay! :yelrotflmao:
  18. Yeah... something like what jbookers got there.... Im gonna have to get some aluminum and just make something. That looks really good Jbooker!
  19. Just any kind of rattle can primer that can be wet sanded will work fine. Honestly, the priming is the most important step in the whole deal, the paint will only turn out as good as your primer. I will list my steps for you... 1) Sand the fenders with 150 till they are kinda harryish 2) Fix any cracks and stuff you have (plastic epoxy is great for that) 3) Prime then wet sand with 600 4) Prime again and wet sand with 800 5) I primed again and sanded with 1000-and again with 1200 but you dont have to, I just wanted a glass like finish on my paint 6) Paint thin even coats of Fusion Here they are sanded down to 150 Here they are after all the wet sanding stages Here is the front end done in Krylon Fusion, waiting for clear Hope this helps you out! Let me know how it all turns out, good luck
  20. Ill be seeing you guys up in Walden this year... I cant wait to see what Walden has to offer!
  21. The key to painting them is the primer... you need to prime, wet sand, prime wet sand and then paint with krylon fusion. The bike in my sig pic is fusion. Looks way better in person then the pic.
  22. Here you go samdust. This is a good clean way to do it. This is how I am going to do it, Im just not sure where to mount the gauge. I want something really clean and nice looking... but this is a good way to get your sender in the hose... banshee temp mod
  23. Ive heard both good and bad about them, but Razr II's will be my next set of non-dune tires. I dont care if they work or not, they looks sweet as can be!
  24. I would imagine thats true you could spin the tire on the rim and mess up your tube. I would get new, the tube idea was just a temporary solution until you could get new.
  25. I am going to check out bigreds +6 and see how I like it, so I may be selling a +4 06banshee. I will let you know if I decide to go with a +6 and I will cut you a good deal on my +4. It is a loco swinger too.
