I am running hole shot h d's, the compression and cluch is fine. only like 5 hours on the quad. it is nice and smooth through the whole power band. I think I will change the gearring. I think im just spinning to much. hes pulling on me in the upper rpm's. I went one tooth down in the frunt because i ride alot of tight trails. so ill go back to stock gearing and race him and see if i do better. -

Ok I raced my buddy that has an 06 yfz 450 with just a pipe and he is spanking me everytime. I pull from him off the line then he cathes me than i pull again then around mid 4th gear he just walks on me. We even traded quads and it was the same thing, so its not the rider. We than raced on the paved rode and i did a little better but he still beats me. What is the deal?? my mods are listed below. Its an 06 air box lid off w/ pro-design proflow kit pro-design cool head 21cc domes tommy t5's timming plate set at +4 degres pro design water inpeller shift star 1 tooth down in the front and jetting is right on

I hear you man, you must be feeling my pain. I just put a new fuel pump in my 99 Blazer last week.$823.67 for the thing. its the 2nd one I put in, in 2 1/2 years. and my cousin put one in before he sold it to me. This time my friends dad put it in for me. He's a mechanic for chevy and he told me NEVER run the tank below 1/4 of a tank because the gas is what cools the pump and when you run it below a 1/4 tank the pump is no longer sumerged in fuel so it over heats. -

Man I know how you feel. I bought my first shee (06 SE) back in october and only took it out like 3 times up till a few weeks ago. In stock form it was slow to me, I ride a 1000cc sports bike so it wasnt too ballsy, A bit disappointing. Well last weekend I Did some mods, Toomy t5's,Vforce 3 reeds,cool head 21cc domes, pro flow uni filter, pro flow perpeller, and a modded shift star. Holy Cow the first time I took it out it was a new beast. this thing rips now. so I know how you feel. The more you get the more you want.

What size is the big nut on the cluch?? I think its like 30 or 31mm.

Im installing a pro design cool head, and installing the new studs but they wont screw in all the way. you can see threds still at the base of the jugs. and the studs stick up to far above the head so i cant us my acorn nuts. how do i get them to screw in more?? I used 2 nuts and back them together and all they do is strip the threds on the nuts.

Holy S**t, this punk lives right around the corner from my best friend. like 2 mins away. and what flooring company did he say he owns? also in another post I read him saying somthing about a custom banshee shop in spring hill. There is no banshee shop around here, I wish there was.

I checked for air leaks today, didnt find any. the reason i was checking way because when i start her up with the choke on the first notch I can hear air being sucked. (Yes the cross ove tube is in place) It only does it with the chocke on. other than that it is running really good.

Ok shes back to life now. come to find out I was runng really lean. End resalt I went with a 260 main, one clip down from stock on the neddle, and 1 turn out on the air screws. She is runng better now than when i first got it. Plugs are a light brown coffey color. thank for all your help.

Snorkel and the lid is gone. Carbs are synced, I did one carb at a time, Chock tube back in place.

Ok guys, this is my first banshee and my first 2 stroke. Bone stoke except a pro design foam filter and twist throttle with the tors removed. I upped the main jet to 220. Now all it does is bog BAD from about 1/2 to wot. I tried to put the chocke on the first nocth and it was worse. Am I too lean or too rich?? Too rich right?? It does start alot better now since I did the filter and removed the tors. It starts on the first kick. Please help Live in florida,sea leval, about 75 degres.
