  4. Looking for some opinions on the best all around trail tires. I live in Ohio and ride in wooded areas with hills dirt and mud.
  5. I had the same problem...follow the electric wires from parking brake lever down behind the radiator and un plug it. And then start your bike.
  6. I have one other problem, if i turn to the right or left all the way, My front tire will turn too far and i cant staighten it out till i hit it with my foot. It happened twice too me on a trail sunday.I had stopped in front of a tree root and had bars turned all the way to the right and went to take off and my right front wheel did that.
  7. Can adjuster get worn out some how? or maybe the swing arm bolt holes where the carrier bolts too? Cause the adjuster bolts are still set the same. and carrier bolts are still tight. But the whole carrier is crooked. You can just look at it with your eye and see it. Ill do what you said and torque them to them specs and see what happens.
  8. them 2 adjusters are the only thing that keeps it striaght? I can turn them adjusters till chain is too tight, with the carrier bolts slightly loosened and i can still move the axle on the right side forward by hand. The whole carrier will be moved back on the right side. I really dont know what the deal is.
  9. I checked that. It will move a 1/2 inch of the adjuster and everything is still tight. Ill loosen the two bolts and the axel will move back in place against the adjusters. Chain wil be tight and axle striaght, ill tighten everything down and go ride for 30 min. Come back and axel is crooked.
  10. Before a ride ill tighten all the bolts down, and when i get done the chain loosed up and the axle is cocked.Looking from back, the right side back. Its like i dont have adjusters on it,but they are. If anyone know what the problem might be, please help!

  12. Im really confused now...the more i back them out,the better it runs. I started at .5 and ended up at1.75 and the hesitation is all most gone.

  14. I live in ohio and temp around 50's under 1500 feet and needle is in the middle. #3
  15. ok,i fixed the leak,got both slide in sync, and my main jets are 260's and pilot jets are 25's. Do you think i need to go up to a 27.5 on my pilot? or up my main jets?
  16. well the main is 260...i couldnt read the pilot.im gonna take the other one out to see it. I also noticed the the slides arent moving at the same time. one starts moving up before the other. I try to adjust it but cant get them to move at the same time.

  18. Hi guys im new to the banshee's and 2 strokes for that matter. I just got my first one over the weekend. The problem im having, when im riding and go from 0 throttle it really dont do much till i get about 1/2 throttle. once it kicks in it runs awesome. It makes it really hard to ride a trail, but out in the open it runs fine cause im always into the throttle hard. I just figured thats how 2 strokes run. Until i rode my buddies banshee, his makes power thru out the throttle. The mods are FMF gold series fattys,k&n filter, moose boost bottle, and they said it was jetted. So i have been reading these forums and come up with, It could be my pilot jets are too small. But really not for sure.But i did notice i left my gas on and one of floats is out of adjustment and leaked fuel on the floor. So will that cause my hesitation or should i explore deeper then that? and try the pilot jets?
  19. I have a simular problem. I have a 97 banshee that i just bought 3 days ago. This is my first banshee. The problem is...When im riding, top end is awesome...but say in 2nd gear coming out of a corner when i hit the throttle, it dont want to go till about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. And it runs great unless i let it go under 1/2 throttle. It just seems to hesitate. but it will do it in all gears. My buddy has a all stock banshee and his dont do that. His will pull when ever you hit the throttle. Mine has FMF gold series pipes and a moose boost bottle and was told it was jetted. But the good thing...i smoked my buddies stock banshee...lol I also live in ohio.
