  1. koolguy is a straight up guyand honest...i tell ya what if this so called great company is all that and a bag of chips why wouldnt they make it right with koolguy?..especially paying 2500+ for a junk tranny....i got your back koolguy if you ever need it,u know that!..we will go get you another shaft of this crook if u want lmk..
  2. if the bike is drag ported w/all the bells and whistles 41mm mukunis work awsome i have them on my bike which kim recommends muks anyway...or 39 pwks are great also..

  5. and get ready to spend a fortune but does great work..but pricey$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$he built me a 7mil cub well him and ziggy i should say built it and it ran great but wanted to upgrade to a dm and called around and got prices and he was the most expensive but a very honest guy which he should be when u are a preacher :biggrin:

  8. also if you havent checked your water pump do that they are plastic and damage very easy!!!
  9. well the first thing you need to do is a leak down test..especially since it was just rebuilt...it could be a bad o-ring in your head also...
  10. does your bike overheat?the way you are explaining things it sounds like you have an air leak..my bike done the same thing one pipe ice cold the other warm..come to find out i had a crank seal bad on the same side as your describing...
  11. some times you can tell by the color of the spark plug if you use antifreese...but like i said crank it up let it get luke warm then shut it down then take off the radiator cap if it erupts out then the oring in the head is bad...also if its an oring water will come out your over flow...
  12. true...i would do the pressure test then if its good..check the head for a bad o-ring..and tim is a great builder as well...when do you see steem when you run the motor and take the spark plugs out?

  14. the way it sounds on yours with you saying steam...is you may have a oring blowed in your head..fire the bike up let it run for a minute to let it warm up then turn the bike off pull your radiator cap off if water shoots out your radiator you have a bad oring..
  15. if you think the topend is all good just flip the motor over and split the cases from the bottom and leave the cylinders on...that way it wont be so hard on ya...but i would change the bearings and seals and use new gaskets..
  16. on some motors they will smoke on one side more than the other..that could be your carbs out of synch..because the left side of your cylinders cant suck tranny oil on that side..id say get the air leak tester check to make sure thats not the problem..and yes the dm cylinders exhaust flange is bigger i was thinking it was 40mm but not for sure on that...
  17. whats it mesure eye to eye?also how much adjustment does it have?
  18. like the other guy said keep a check on your oil level if it gets low its sucking oil into your cylinders causing it to smoke like a freight train...
