Thanks going to try it out today when i get out of work.

I am trying to install some chrome springs that they gave me on my Stock Shocks does any one know how to take them apart so i can install these springs? I saw in some threads that you need a spring compressor i got that already just don't know how to disassemble them. Thanks.

Do the carbs come with the Tors Removal Kit and Throttle Cable?

The best thing to do here is go spend a few bucks on a Continuity tester and check all your wires...i had a similar problem riding fine and boom it turned off...thanks to this forum i only had to spend $30 to fix my bike it was nothing but a melted wire that i would never have found by just looking it at it..the problem you are having is almost 99% sure its from your harness.

Been wondering about the same thing...looks like i can use my Home Depot Gift Card for something.

I really dont think i can help much but my bike did something similar and i couldn't figure it out...i just took all the discs out of the clutch and put them back in the same order and it kept riding...i dont know if this info helps but it worked for me.

Yeah well i got dissapointing news about my bike i dont have the mods that i thought i had for example i thought my head was cut and its not, my timing is only at plus 2 and my carbs are not jetted correctly i am running super rich. The bike spins all of first but i think it has to do that im extended to +4 and that kills my traction but i dont want to drop my bike with pipes i rather buy the shocks and my fenders are cut in the front, and the back ones i remove them when i race all i do is pop off my seat and they come right off.

Yeah my bike has a nice hole shot tru story it was the first time I actually race my bike I had never been in a race before Had the bike two years but just did trail riding now I got into this racing bug can't wait till I do a rebuild and get serious with it.

I have a 2001 Mazada Tribute 120,000 miles v6 4x4...the interior needs a good cleaning but other than that the truck is pretty clean...had the motor rehauled about two years ago. It is a XLE edition has pretty much every option ...if you have any interest let me know i can get pictures and send them over.

I was running this other banshee this past weekend 1/4 mile marked There happened to be a Radar so we clocked our bikes my bike hit 86 and his hit 89 but on the 1/4 mile I would take him about 3 to 4 bikes? is it my bike has more torque?

Sounds like i got a busy weekend...Over the summer i plan to build from the bottom up....thats why i just got a light port more like a clean up port because im not Trued and Welded in the crank so i was scared of blowing it...but i have to admit it runs pretty dam good for the way its tuned giving some heavily ported guys trouble no one ever believes i am just ported then think im a slow stroked bike. How exactly is timing affecting the bike...how would i know what my limits are on the timing...i also thought that depending on your compression is how much you mess with the timing? How can i measure or know my RPMs?

I am running a stock head milled... What octane should i run if i Bump up the timing? and also should i mess with the sprockets first and then mess with the timing and jetting? or do the timing and jetting first and then go on to sprocket changing? If i have a 330 main and i beleive its running rich should i change the main jet first? .

I also got some more info the bike is +2 advance can i move it up to +4? I also believe my bike is running rich but this weekend im going to do a plug test to see exactly whats going on... Any advice? What are some good tools to take with me that are often used? Thanks

I have at home a stock front and a 38 rear... I used the speed calculator and it was telling me that 16/38 gives more MPH but how can i actually tell if it is accurate...is the best thing to do trial and error... is there another way to use the calculator that will be more accurate... GEAR 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th Im going riding this weekend and want to get some more MPH on the Quarter MIle... ONe question for you guys...there is a bike i ran that had a higher MPH in the 1/4 mile but everything we run it 1/4 distance i take him by about 3 to 4 bikes...any reasoning behind this?

Well my mods are described up top and i am also 20 over bore size. So yeah i have porting done to my bike and my head is shaved just not sure of the compression...

Hey guys i have read through allot of topics and searches for about the last few months trying to understand how to make my bike run its best. I am going to start with my Mods: Light Port Work No airbox VF3 Reeds CPi Pipes (SB) 160 Compression maybe more Timing Plate +4 16/40 Gears +4 Swing Arm Now im going to tell you a bit of how the bike runs 1/4 Mile 86 MPH 165 lb rider It is very crisp through all the gears but 6th gear dies out? is it my gearing? i do allot of asphault racing with about 20% trail riding Other details is i Spin all of first but that should be because of my swing arm being extended you guys agree? What can i do to run some higher octane? My plugs look good but i havent done the test as i read in some of the post that others left on the forum im going to do it correctly this weekend and report back. Basically what i want to do is get some more power out of my bike by fine tuning some more before the summer... because over the summer i will be overhauling the bike again. Any input you guys can give me would be appreciated and if i left any information out just ask. Thanks.
