Retarded way to spend 150k. Its ugly it wont move with the Gd out 20s or whatever. I like the aligator skin. I really do. Great way for whoever spent the 150 to slip rite off and break his watermellon open.

Got that, Also make sure when you file down the rubber off the intake manifolds and hold the reeds up against them check to see if you can see light shining through. If you see any light that means you dident file them down good enough to create the proper seal.

Its good oil but I have seen alot of engines seize up from Klotz. Now that is just my expirence with the oil and alot of people here use it and sewar by it. I use Castrol 927. Look up Klotz and Maxima Castrol and see witch one YOU think is the best.

Castrol 927 is one of the best oils out there. Thats all I run.

Yeah dude Cody Buchanan will do it for you. Look around for prices by all means but you know hes not expensive and you already know how well he can build an engine. Did you upgrade to a bigger carb when he did your 440 ex? I will be at Buchanan Racing tomorow and I will tell Cody to call you. I have your number but Im sure he should have your number in his logs too. You know you can call me or Cody anytime you want too. Call my number first because due to service operations he only answers his phone from 4pm-7pm. Hours of operation are Monday-friday 10:00am to 7:00pm Saturdays 10:00am to 4:00pm sundays his phone and racing shop are closed. Gordon we are going to rip up the tracks and hills this summer. Espically if you are ported and I have my Elka Elites and mabey a little port job :biggrin:

I have been running Yamalube 4 10w30. Now I have two bottles of Bel Ray gear saver. and 2 bottols of Motorex Synthetic Gear Oil 10w30. I am going to try the Motorex Synthetic tomorow. Thats the case here too. I would gladly pick up a broken down SHEE for under a stack though. Stolen ones I have no problem just taking off of the person who stole it and trying to locate the original owner though. Its not to difucult to fint the owner of a vehical espicaly with the internet.If not you can just hand it over to the local police department and let them deal with it. There are some shady people who I know have stolen ATVs but I cant prove it. I dont ride with these people but they brag about how cheap they got it for and in cirtain cases you just know. If someone came up to me and offered me a stolen one and from what I hear it happens all of the time around the river. I would pressure them to get off it and try and locate the original owner. I hate theives! -
Damn even 4 bucks a piece you can keep them. Ive ran B8ES all of my life and I dont plan on changing anytime soon. 2 Dollars a pop and the only time you foul them out is if You change something and need to rejet, you put around, or let your friends ride it :: . The BR8ES is a resistor plug and it doesnt have as good of a spark. Alot of people who have radios attached to their Banshees use them Ive heard of some of you guys who run Nology Coils and Dyna or other aftermarket Ignitions use them. Im curious why they are called for? Also are there any other Coils like Nology? Diffrent Distributor? better? worse?

Ive been taking it easy on the jumps for a few reasons. 1. I have a bad leg and the stock shock SUUUUUUCK! 2. The Banshee is alot diffrent to jump than my old LT250R. Ive noticed on pretty much every jump I end up picking the front end up a little so I dont land on my front tires or do a nose dive. Ive been getting like 4-5 feet of air and landing flat and its brutal on my leg. Ive found some good downhill landings though so Im gonna try more of them tomorow and friday-sunday. I also push my ass back a bit when I am ready to hit the jump and I land without hitting the seat. It can take some practice. Im new to this too and the best advise I can give you is start small and try to land on a downslope. Im gonna try to get some footage of me climbing the superbowl and suicide hill this weekend too along with some air.

Well if you increase your timing your compression is going to be even higher. Do a test cold then warm it up to riding temp and do another comp test. See where your at. You might have to run a full race fuel blend after that. I would definatly run straight 110 through your first tank then drop a tiny bit at a time from there till you feel comfterble. What Oil do you run? What do you mix it at? I suguest Maxima Castrol 927 at 32:1. 40:1 being the highest. Some will say Klotz supertechniplate at 32-40:1 Amsoil ect ect. Its all about prefrence when it comes to premix but I stick with the 927. Im sure everyone will agree thats a good oil even if they dont run it.

If the carbon is Caked on there that could be from pre ignition. You can just scrape all of that carbon off but be carefull when you do you dont want to nick anything. Are you running any extra timing? Could also have to do with the oil you are running. Some oils carbon up more than others. But detonation seems to be the problem. Write up a check list and go over everything. You know change all of your fluids and inspect them. Make sure your pistons are moving freely and the rings are not worn out. Compression test. Change your plus and do a plug chop. Rejet if nessacary. Most imporantant get all of that gas out of there ASAP and run a higher Octane fuel. Or change the domes out to a bigger size so you can run pump gas. Just check your timing cause you dont want to run too extreme on your timing with the bigger domes IMO. Let us know.

Yes it will definatly affect preformance. You actualy melting your pistons so all of that debris is going through your whole motor it will make it sound like there is dirt being recycled throughout the bike. Pipes motor everywhere. I would check the plugs for metal pieces. Drain the tranny fluid and see if there is any metal floating around in there. Look at your pistons. I would do a complete teardown. Ive never heard of the fuel you mentioned but the octane sounds rite.

I am truley sorry to hear about this dark time your going through. Strength is the only thing you have to offer your family at this point so keep hold on that. I cant even begin to imagine how tough all of this is on you and yours. You have my full support and I will say a prayer in my own way.

well if your in the 170s range that alone calls for race fuel. I would run a 75% mix of 110 to 93 just to be safe. 50-50 definatly. Or you could try a local airport for 100LL for like 3 bucks a gallon is what I heard.

Are you just worried about drag racing raptors or do you do other types of riding? First thing to get is pipes then go from there.

Are you wondering if the bolt ons will give you enough power? I dont understand. If its all taken apart and your gonna weld the crank then yeah get it ported wile your at it and save the extra time and money. If your not sure what type of port you want to go with get a nice cheap clean up port bolt on all of your new mods and RIIIIIIIP. If you want more power you can always get it ported more later but you should know where and how you ride and what type of power you want/need. Unless you just got your bike.
